Absolutely fabulous day out. The wonderful experience started from our hotel pickup through to the food, entertainment, and of course the magnificent island and crystal clear waters. Lovely staff looked after us the entire day. Highly recommended this trip to anyone and everyone.

A great full day trip. Plenty of bright fish, warm clear waters, great lunch provided. The loungers do run out, so does the spots in the shade so be quick off the boat. Good sunscreen or cover swimsuits essential.

From hotel pickup to drop off we had the best day. Spectacular blue water, white sandy beaches and great lunch with Melanesian dancing / what a day - and what a great way to see the NC lagoon. The staff - perfecto, the transport / clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Fully inclusive trip. Fabulous buffet lunch with drinks and entertainment . A lot of fun in the glass bottom boat viewing turtles, sea life and fish. You can climb the lighthouse and snorkel for an extra charge if you want to and I thoroughly recommend doing both. Everyone was very nice and helpful and I had a great time. Thanks

Must see, when you visit New Caledonia. Amazingly beautiful sight, top view from the lighttower and a lot of snakes and turtles to be found on the island.

Brilliant day out , saw fish, turtles and coral.
Mary D was packed but plenty of room on island.
Got to go up lighthouse , brilliant view.
The lunch provided was great, plenty to eat and very well organised. The crew put on a show and got people up to dance and have fun.
We had great weather , no wind and the sun was out.
Glass bottom was only 30 mins but we saw some big fish and coral , you won't see brilliant colours because a lot has been damaged because people snorkell around there.
You can just relax on the beach, swim or snorkell , plenty of shade and sun lounges.
We were lucky with the weather, made the day. The staff were great.

Nothing special or interesting.
Poor beach.
Not easy to reach a place with fish on the left side of the beach. You will scratch your stomach.
Terrible snorkeling equipment.
You pay for 3 hours for snorkeling, but in reality you cannot use 3 hours because you miss your lunch with local show or your trip with glass bottom boat. Really it is 2 hours maximum.
No safe jackets for rent, even for kids.
You must have ID with you, but nobody tell you about that.
A place on the map, that company provides like a meeting point at the morning is incorrect! Thank local people, they helped me to find a boat.
Too many people were in our group, as a result was not enough fruits, juices, white wine.

due to tropical cyclones and bad weather conditions, the beach has been eroded and under current bought up debris, it has been our continuous effort to clean up the beach.
The snorkeling gears rental is operated by an independent dive club on the island, we will pass on your comment to them concerning quality of their snorkeling equipment.
for all tripadvisor, viator or online bookings, we precisely stated boarding time and location in writing with booking confirmation, free hotel pick up and drop off from hotels in the bay area is offered for all tourists, even you are not staying in hotel, you can still use this service by going to the closest hotel to your location, all efforts are made to try to make your day less stressful and more enjoyable.
we have open bar during lunch time at the restaurant, there is no limit as to how much you drink and we do not put passengers in groups at all, you just come to the drink station with your glass and we refill, the bar closes at the end of the dance show,
all food we consume on the island for the day is brought in from Noumea on the boat, even drinking water, unfortunately, sometimes we do run out.

We had a fabulous day on the Island. We were there for 6 1/2 hours which was great I just wish I had taken a book. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. Extra thanks to Dave, who took the time to tell us more about the Island and its flora and fauna. The lunch was delicious, lots of options to choose from. The rum punch was delicious. We saw 2 turtles and lots of fish on our glass bottom boat trip. Great day out.

It was an amazing experience! The dance and snorkel were 100 times better than expected!
Tour guides were friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience relaxing and enjoyable. Food was great too!

We could not fault this day. From pick up to drop off. Staff were friendly and their Cultural Show was fantastic. Lunch was devine. Great view from the lighthouse. Beach was beautiful and snorkelling was amazing, highlight was swimming up close with turtles. Only an hour boat ride away, so it gave you ample of time to spend on the island.
Have to recommend booking via Viator. This trip had previously been cancelled due to weather conditions, Emily was fantastic with communication and helping us to rebook!

This was a great day the food entertainment location snorkelling and glass bottom boat was great.
Highly recommend this tour, however be prepared that the staff speak limited English. There was only one crew member who spoke fluent English I think it would be an idea if they had him do the announcements in English over the speaker as they only did announcements in French which was confusing considering over half the tour was English speaking we had no idea where we were supposed to go or what we were supposed to do. They were all very friendly and jovial and tried hard to ensure we had a great day.

Amedee Island was one of the most beautiful tropical islands that I have ever seen. The island is pristine, loved and respected by the local people. If you thinking of going to New Caledonia, visiting Amedee Island is a must as you will see the beauty of nature all around you.

It was an excellent tour. The Mary D crew were exceptional and did a great of job looking after everyone while we were on the island, with their multi skilled qualities being displayed to the fullest. It was one of the best organised tours that we have been on. The lunch was amazing and the glass bottom boat was another highlight.

Stunning island and surrounding lagoon. Modern comfortable boat. The staff were so hardworking and were knowledgeable, professional and fun. Delicious lunch in an organised setting. The traditional show was very enjoyable!

Was a great trip out to the island . The staff were excellent and attentive all day . I was on crutches so needed a bit of extra assistance which they happily provided. They even came and checked to see if I needed help with getting my lunch . The island is gorgeous, just shame it was such a windy day, but you can’t control the weather

Highly recommend the trip! They can pick you up from some main hotels. You’re board on a big ship. Lunch is included. And the island is so beautiful. Worth it!

Staff were outstanding - they worked hard to give us the best possible experience. They were very kind and helpful. Views from lighthouse amazing and we really enjoyed the delicious lunch and show. We also had fun snorkeling. How much you enjoy the day overall, however, is dependent upon weather and how well you are prepared for it. I would advise taking a wind/rain jacket and some warm clothes in changeable weather and determine to stay positive. It was very windy the day we went and we missed the glass bottom boat tour because it was simply too dangerous and visibility would have been poor anyway. This is completely unavoidable. Nothing however was offered as an alternative for those who missed out and unfortunately finding a warm sheltered spot where we could just relax for the afternoon was difficult. I have given a four simply for the lack and poor maintenance of facilities and equipment on the island- many broken li-lows, two toilets available for ladies and very few places to shelter from wind/rain.

Absolutely stunning island tour!! The staff were amazing so kind and helpful. We had two babies and a disabled person in our group and everyone was fantastic. The lunch was so good and the tradition dancing after lunch was beautiful they were truly gorgeous to watch. Thank you for one of our families best experience at New Caledonian ❤️

Loved the island and the water was so beautiful and clear to swim in with heaps of wildlife lots of turtles and colourful fish and very safe. Even saw a snake but it wasnt aggressive and more interested in climbing beach. The only worry was getting back on ship as low tide but the crew was excellent in getting us onboard.

The lighthouse has a spectacular view of you can take the 231 steps to the top. They fed us great seafood. The snorkeling was pretty good and the staff was excellent. Pickup and dropoff were easy. Very chill and lovely outing.

We loved the boat trip over, the views from the lighthouse, beautiful beach to swim at, delicious lunch and entertaining traditional dances and the glass bottom boat. While we thought this was a good experience there were a couple of things that let it down. There were not enough snorkeling sets, which meant we missed out on snorkeling all together, this was one of the main reasons we chose this trip as you cannot currently swim from the beach in Noumea due to sharks. It also rained from Lunchtime onwards, and while this cannot be controlled it meant we left the island earlier than planned, we would of been happy to stay and get a chance at snorkeling. Overall, we would recommend the trip but you would want to be sure you have a fine day, as it isn't a cheap trip!

Beautiful day trip, a must do in Noumea. The captain and crew were amazing and lunch was delicious. The Polynesian dancing was a delight. The views from the top of the lighthouse are incredible and well worth climbing the 247 stairs to the top. The trip on the glass bottom boat was great and we saw lots of big fish, plus great views back to the island, over the beautiful crystal clear water. Snorkelling and swimming were wonderful to do here also.
