Book a different tour!

Brennen_W, Nov 2025
Buyer Beware!!! The itinerary clearly states walking along the river. However, when we asked to go down the guide said this wasn’t included in the tour. Also you don’t visit the ferry chimneys and take an extra stop at a shop before dropoff… we missed sunset. I would definitely book a different tour. When we spoke to Viator they contacted the tour operator and claimed the government closed walking along the river. However we saw people walking along it. Disappointed in Viator and this tour operator.

Not worth the money

Brooke_E, Jun 2025
The underground city was great and definitely a highlight of the tour, however most of the time on the tour was spent on the bus driving through agricultural areas. Most of the stops were just for photos and not a lot of information regarding the area or history was given. Despite asking and including dietary requirements (gluten free) for the included lunch, they were not accommodating and meant there was less food than everyone else. The lunch place is not depicted like the pictures, the river restaurants have been knocked down for preservation so we ended up eating somewhere else with a lot of free time. Honestly, felt like a waste of time in comparison to what we saw and learnt, is not worth the money, especially for more budget travellers.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the underground city—it’s truly one of the most impressive sites in Cappadocia. We’re sorry to hear that the rest of the tour didn’t meet your expectations. Our Green Tour includes several panoramic and cultural stops, and while some are indeed shorter photo stops, they are selected to showcase the natural and historical beauty of the region. However, we understand your concerns and will review the timing to improve the balance between travel and exploration time. Regarding the lunch: We apologize if your gluten-free request was not fully met. While we always pass special dietary needs to our restaurant partners in advance, unfortunately the options at local establishments can sometimes be limited. We do clearly state in our tour description that lunch is a set menu, and while we do our best to accommodate, variety may differ. As for the riverside restaurants—yes, you’re right. They have been closed recently due to government preservation works. We’ve updated our tour materials to reflect this change, and we appreciate your comment for helping us clarify this further. We value your feedback and hope we can provide a more satisfying experience for you in the future. Warm regards, Voyager Agency Team

Nice drive

Nayyer_Z, May 2025
Saw Goreme Panoramic view which was free, visited a jewellery store in Pigeon Valley where I was pressured to buy a 4k US dollar bracelet, had lunch which was nice and a little walk by the river, not sure what the significance of this was in Cappadocia, drove a long way to be shown from a distance Star Wars set caves, drove back to the underground caves which were brilliant but only spent 10m to 15m inside, then got taken to a Turkish delight store for over 30m. Lots of driving and not much time at the sightseeing. Paid extra for tickets where entry was extra but only used a ticket in underground city so not sure what else I've paid for. Tour operator was trying to be jovial but I'm afraid I didn't like just being driven about all day without real purpose as promised in the sales itinerary. At best a nice drive into the countryside.

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We're sorry to hear the tour didn't meet your expectations. However, it seems there may have been some confusion regarding which version of the Green Tour you booked. There are two different Green Tours in Cappadocia — one includes a 3 km hike through Ihlara Valley and Selime Monastery (longer version), and the other (our tour) follows a panoramic route with a shorter walk, a visit to the underground city, and scenic stops. Each tour has a different price and structure, and we kindly suggest leaving a review for the correct operator based on the version you attended. Regarding the panoramic view and shops: Our guides explain the full itinerary at the beginning, and guests are welcome to ask questions or clarify any part. Jewelry or souvenir stops are optional, and purchasing is never required. If a salesperson was overly persistent, we apologize — but we trust our guests to make their own choices. As for the ticket use: Our tour clearly states that entrance tickets are included only for the underground city. Other areas (like Pigeon Valley or river walk) are open-air locations without ticket requirements. We hope this clears up some of the confusion. Your feedback helps us ensure clarity and better communication for future guests. Warm regards, Voyager Agency Team

Great tour but best tour guide!

Chih_L, Sep 2024
Rabia was our guide and she was awesome! Very friendly and had a great sense of humor. She made sure that everyone had a great time. The tour itself covered different attractions, our favorite was definitely the underground city and Rabia made it fun too! At one point on the trip, my companion lost his wallet at the Narligöl lake. The tour staff helped us locate the wallet, drove back to the location and got into a heated argument with one of the vendors who had the said wallet. Both Rabia and the driver argued with the man until they got the wallet back. They really came through for him and went above and beyond.

THIS IS A SCAM

Miles_G, Apr 2023
This is a scam company. They did not contact us at any point before our supposed ‘green tour’ and when we went the day of to find the travel agency, it did not exist. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR.

Don't miss

Good experience, lots of useful and interesting information, thanks to our guide, Melih. Definitely worth it

Except for the stops selling products, which were two, the rest was very good.

AnaMaria_R, Jan 2026
It was a nice excursion, with a small group. The food was great in a very local place. The guide did a good job with clear and concise explanations.

Great experience

RYO_N, Aug 2025
He was very flexible, his guide akif driver Gurkad and all the other staff involved were very friendly and enjoyed it. If you ever come to Cappadocia again, I want to use it again. They also responded quickly to inquiries from last minute bookings.

Poca explicación

JoanManuel_G, Jan 2025
Poca explicación por parte de la guía, no ofrecía ayuda ni para tomar fotografías. Fue como ir en taxi sin explicación
