tor Green tour
The tour as advertised on the Viator website didnt match the reality on the day . The Cappadocia Green tour had 5 locations . Ihlara valley was advertised as immersion walking tour . On the day it was panoramic view from top of the Ihlara canyon only . Further We didn't visit Yaprakhisar village at all . Instead, we were taken to a Nuts & Herb retail store . The Goreme Oynx was another overpriced retail store .
Most frustrating aspect was , when I approached the tour guide on this issue, her response was ' the Asian tourists on the tour don't like to walk or be out in Sun ' . What about the rest of the group!
Our tour guide provided minimal guidance , the free time had no time constrains , which ment that she was chasing people to return to bus .
I had only 4 days in Cappadocia , was looking forward to amazing Ihlara walking tour . I was denied to experience. I doubt I will have another opportunity again .
I would not recommend this tour .

The tour was good and showed us the places that we needed to. However the guides and the company are paid commission to take us to these jewellery places and markets. Beware of that the prices are tourist trap prices and they rush you and will try to scam you. So although the tour was great, these selling scams are not fun

A great tour covering a LOT of sights. Our guide was superb at managing our time incredibly well. He adjusted our itinerary to stay ahead of huge crowds on a holiday weekend - skipping a scheduled stop but hitting it on the return trip. The underground city was the highlight! Absolutely amazing!!

Ruya, our guide was knowledgeable. She has a good command of English which was appreciated. She knew a lot about the historical places we saw and was able to answer our questions. It was nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel as well.

Our guide (Jello) was great, he was very informative and added context on the tour. However, there were a few stops added to the tour that were very self-serving. The so called “onyx workshop” on the tour is just an overpriced jewelry shop that’s taking advantage of tourists. The lunch stop was good, but the owner was not forthcoming with the outrageous prices he was charging for drinks and desserts, and finally the “cultural snack” was an overpriced Turkish Delight shop, again trying to take advantage of tourists. Overall, the stops that had cultural significance were great (like the underground city and Illhara valley), and we covered a lot of ground in a day, but the guide companies, not exclusive to this one, should be transparent and not sugar coat the amount of filler in the itinerary.
There wasn’t much for the guide to add. It was more for driving around from point A to B than for a tour/experience, which I don’t mind since the distances are long (210 km in total)
