We had an amazing shark cage diving experience in Gansbaai. The team was professional and made us feel safe at all times. Seeing the sharks up close was absolutely thrilling and unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique adventure!

If you want to dive with sharks in Gansbaai then the Great White Shark Company are the company! Brilliant experience, saw loads of Bronze Whaler Sharks and a rare Seven Gill Shark. Great teams on the boat and at base. Everyone had a great time. Safe, efficient and great time. Definitely recommend.

This is a great company doing important work. Their staff were professional and informative. Unfortunately, the day we went, visibility underwater was poor, there were maybe 7ft swells (lots of seasickness, I took Dramamine and was still queasy) and there wasn't a whole lot of shark action (we were in the first group in the cage and there was one bronze whaler shark at that time, I got one close up look at him) and the water was 12 degrees Celsius, so I was more focused on my chattering teeth than what was in the water in front of me. Nothing the company could have done to make it better but it was a somewhat underwhelming experience for the $ paid. I am sure that other times, the conditions could be much better; this was just our experience on one particular day! Be aware that if staying in Cape Town, your pickup time could be as early as 3:45am; I would recommend staying in a hotel near Gansbaai the night before, b/c you wont know your pickup time till the day before your excursion.

This was a great experience for my whole family and I. We filled one with nature and were really excited about the outcome of the adventure. The driver Shaheen was the most drive. Or we've had since we've been in South Africa. It is well knowledgeable of all of south africa's areas. The venture was great but Shaheen was 10 out of 10. when we retire. We will definitely come back and do it again.

Our guides and the captain were great. They always told us when there was a lot of activity so that we could dive down in time to see the sharks. They taught us so much about sharks and sea life. We saw a TON of sharks. They provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Meeting sharks is a fascinating experience! We were conducted with very good guidance, safety and cordiality. We met with bronze sharks. Unfortunately, we did not see the white shark :( But, anyway, the cage downhill is very worth it (and I could go down twice!). I highly recommend!
