Misleading…..

Shelley_D, Nov 2025
It is misleading to take people out on a whale spotting boat tour when you openly know there are no whales as they have already migrated. I specifically asked before booking (9pm previous evening) if there had been any recent sitings, to be told yes & then less than 12 hours later (8am next morning) email saying not to expect to see them as they had migrated. Conditions on ticket say no refund!!! All we saw was 4 seals and although nice enough boat ride definitely not worth it. To add insult to injury they gave out ‘come back for a free boat ride’ compensation vouchers - duh?! It’s the tail end of the season!!! Captain describing the bay as a ‘dead bay’ and the lack of seabirds would have been a clear indication of NOTHING TO SEE.
