This was an amazing experience! The musicians and dancers were all incredibly talented you could not help but be impressed and thoroughly entertained. Highly recommend
The dancers and musicians are very talented but the entire setup gives Lawrence Welk vibes. Find a pub instead.

Some in our group loved the experience others thought it was overpriced and light on dancing. We did the VIP seats which had great view however seats were too close together. Large people next to us took half our chair. The swag was underwhelming and one person got a book and that was it! I’d rather have cheaper seats option and no swag in VIP section.
Wasn't sure if this was "too touristy" or worthwhile but since we hadn't had a chance to listen to much music we went. Let me say the musicians were world class, the music/instruments traditional Irish, but also a bit of musical history. The dancers excellent and world champions too. From someone who appreciates bluegrass, country, and all, we were impressed. The only slight disappointment was we paid for VIP seating and what we got was a cd and SWAG- not preferred seating.

2-hour program of Irish music and dancing. Talented musicians and dancers. Our favorite parts were the dancing and watching the percussionist (she was extremely versatile and played multiple instruments). The violinist was talented but after awhile it was hard to tell one song from another. They featured all the instrumentalists except the excellent piano player (it would have been nice to hear one song with him as the focus instead of him always in the background). The male vocalist was the weakest part of the program (voice a bit wobbly and thin). The dancers were amazing!

The show was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the ‘Guinness’ Pipes, the dancing was very good as was the 3 course meal prior to the music.
Expecting a traditional Irish music exposé, my wife and I were blown away by the incredible hospitality the band and venue showed us, and the VIP package was well worth it as well!
Definitely go to this show if you are visiting Ireland. It’s a wonderful presentation of Irish music, singing and dancing. The musicians were outstanding, as were the dancers. We had great seats in the first elevation. There is a short intermission and the show goes for 2 hours. You can take photos and videos and have your photo taken with the dancers afterwards, if you wish.

The music and dance were fantastic. Experiencing traditional music and dance was far better than I expected. I highly recommend this. I was impressed they were able to get so many accomplished artists in one show.
The performances were outstanding. The highlight was the Irish bagpipes- hauntingly beautiful. My only critique is that the venue should ban cell phones- they’re unbelievably distracting, and many venues I’ve been to have been using yonder or similar style pouches.
It was great fun. Here visiting family, husband recently became Irish citizen nice to connect with his culture.
Trad on the Prom is a wonderful opportunity to see how Irish music is a living thing that is beloved by musicians and audiences the world over.

What a fantastic show. From the world champion dancers to the world class musicians. We had a great time and the pride they have in the show is evident at every moment.
Everybody on stage was extremely talented! My husband and I really enjoyed the show….i highly recommend if traveling to Galway!
The quality of Trad on the Prom was so much more than my sisters and I ever expected. We booked the show looking for traditional Irish music. And yes, we did get traditional Irish music, but it was all performed by first class musicians, dancers, and singers. The footwork and leaps off the dancers were astounding. The fingers of the players on the bodhran and concertina moved so fast their fingers looked like a blur. We could feel the emotion in the melody which the musician played on the Irish pipes…called the uillean)….and which he had composed as a tribute to his mother Bridget. The caliber of the entertainment ranks with that of the Chieftains and Riverdance. In addition, the staff at the venue were warm and welcoming. We had an absolutely wonderful evening and would highly recommend this show.

Evon was amazing. I’ve always been drawn to watching the percussionist and her skill level was remarkable. Amazed by the dexterity and high leaps of the dancers. I could gush on and on… needless to say the artists were masters of their craft!
