Out group of 8 all loved this tour! Our driver, Tommy, a highly knowledgeable retired archeologist, was highly personable and insightful. He took us to some great little spots along the way, recommended the perfect dinner spot and made the day totally enjoyable. So glad we did this instead of the typical large group tour. Totally worth it!

We had the absolute pleasure of touring the Cliffs of Moher with Paul, from John Kings tours and we cant recommend this company enough! From the moment Paul picked up our family of 8, we knew we were in great hands. Paul was warm, professional, patient, incredibly knowledgeable and BEYOND thoughtful with accessibility accommodations for some of those we were traveling with– the perfect guide for a perfect tour. The Cliffs themselves were stunning, but it was Paul who truly made the day special. He went above and beyond, taking us to a fantastic lunch in Doolin where the food was not only amazing but he managed to pull the sweetest surprise dessert delivery (with candles!) for my mom! It was such a thoughtful touch that meant the world to our family. We also stopped by a lighthouse, fishing village, and beautiful overlook. Paul was full of great stories, insights, history, and made everyone feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire day. If you’re looking for a personal, memorable, and top-tier experience in Ireland, book this tour. You won’t regret it!

Mr. King was a most accommodating driver. Our request was very unique. We needed a ride to attend a funeral 2.5 hours from the cruise dock. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 75 down to 9. He delivered us to the church in plenty of time, waited patiently through the myriad of services, events and potty stops, then delivered us back to the ship with time to spare, safe and sound.

Paul was the best. We had a group of 9 and various ideas on what to do. Paul was great at keeping everyone happy. A few surprise stops were nice. Perfect from large groups that don’t want to do the big tour bus deal.

Fantastic service

We booked this service twice while we were in Galway. The complaint I have is on the Viator end. I booked 3 months in advance of our trip, and had used my husband's credit card. You get automated messages feom Viator letting you know when the card will be charged, and you dont need to do anything else. I had forgotten that we had a fraud alert on my husband's card two weeks prior and had a new card shipped. So, when Viator went to run payment, yhe card was obviously declined. NO WORD from Viator notifying me the card was declined. They simply canceled the booking with no notice. The night before our firat booking, we contacted John King to confirm pick up times. That is when we discovered the cancellation. Mr King was wonderful! We paid him directly, and he was able to book Paul, one of his part time drivers. Paul was WONDERFUL! He made a suggestion to stop at a sheep farm on ourway to the Abbey, and made sure our family was able to shear a sheep, and all of us were able to feed the lambs as well. It was a fun opportunity for our city kids(ages 13-27). He gave us so much history of the area, told us of the famine walls. And he played his concertina for us as well! We had a great experience at Kylemore Abbey. The next tour was to the Cliffs. Again, great experience! Aidan was not as talkative as Paul, but again, gave us extra information, suggested two perfect stops along our route to see the sights, and get a family photo at the Burren. I highly recommend this company! When we go back, I will use them again. **Just keep your eyes on your bookings. Log in and make sure Viator hasn't canceled your reservation. They will not tell you.

Excellent tour!

We were traveling through Ireland as a family for 10 days and this was by far the best excursion we had! We had a few places on our list to visit but our tour guide had excellent suggestions for us that we didn’t know existed such as walking through a well preserved ruined monastery. He was an archaeologist so he had a wealth of information and history of all of Ireland (and a great sense of humor!). I highly recommend this mini bus service to see the most and best that the area has to offer in a day with a lot of historical knowledge along the way.

This was a wonderful option for our family Ireland vacation. We were a large group, so having a van that could accommodate us all really added. A nod to Tom, our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the countryside and about Irish history as well, which we really wanted. Transportation was timely and courteous. Would highly recommend.

I cannot give enough stars for our experience! Tom, our guide and driver, was our favorite part of our trip to Ireland! He was so knowledable and kind and hilarious …..We spent two days together touring The Burren and Conemara regions and learned so much history and saw so many beautiful things that we never would have seen without him! Worth every penny…. I wish we had had more time!

It was wonderful to be able to rent a minibus, as there was 10 of us. The driver Paul was so nice, and let us set the agenda for the day. We do wish that there was a little more facts or information shared on the trip, but this was what worked best for my family.

One of the best tours we had in Ireland. We knew we wanted to see the Cliffs of Moher but we were up for anything. Our tour guide took us off the beaten path to some really unique and beautiful places. Definitely recommend.

Group Transportation and Sightseeing

Our group of 9 came to Ireland for a wedding and did some traveling around. We hired a driver and minibus to transport us plus our luggage from one place to the next and allowed us to customize the route and stops along the way. It worked out great. The bus was comfortable and clean and the driver was very nice. I would recommend this company as they were responsive and reliable. I would use them again in the future.

Highlight of our Vacation

We booked on short notice on kind of a whim after being in Galway for a week and wanting to see Connemara - the day before - and John was super responsive in getting it set up. The tour was the highlight of our vacation. The guide was an archeologist at the local university with a specialty in stone walls!!! He pointed out things at different spots on the tour that I would have just overlooked. He explained Irish history and how the landscape has transformed. I couldn't have wanted anything else in a tour experience.
