Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, PLEASE visit Botswana. It is a gem of peace, quiet, safety and friendliness. Long may it last that way. Walking around Gaborone feels like a big village, not too crowded and barely any traffic even at peak hours, and no one bothers you even late in the evening. Barely any cars on the road after midnight. Airport is small, not too busy and seamless security process. The locals of Botswana are up for a conversation if you want to have one.
The tour was a great way to discover the area, especially since foreign tourism has not been hugely developed yet, so there is not a lot of public tourist awareness or infrastructure to guide you. Therefore, a self guided trip might be a bit more difficult in Botswana. Having this guide with me really helped me to explore the area and perhaps to see the side of Botswana that others don’t. This included the authentic villages, foods and activities that the locals engage in.

I had an amazing multi day tour and I learned a lot about the history of Botswana. As part of this tour I visited Manyana village, Mokolodi Game reserve and did a city tour.
Heritage Adventures provided me with an authentic experience of Gaborone, Botswana . I also enjoyed the cuisine, shopped and tried out local snacks at the main mall. I will highly recommend Heritage Adventures.
