Following pickup at your Fortaleza hotel in the morning, board your vehicle for the picturesque 65-mile (104-km) drive to Lagoinha.

Arrive at your destination in the Paraipaba district and disembark to spend the day exploring the mellow fishing village. Once a favorite hiding place for French pirates' buried treasure, this beach is now a destination for tourists and locals alike.

Spend time exploring the red sand dunes any way you like. Opt for a dune buggy ride, a horseriding expedition or just relax on the sand. Wade in the water, swim or hire a jaganda, a traditional sailing boat, to explore the waters on Almecegas Pond. Sit down at one of the local beachside restaurants for a taste of the fresh, local seafood and a cold beverage to finish off the day in paradise.

At the end of your full day at Lagoinha, enjoy the trip back to Fortaleza and drop-off at your hotel.

Super fun beach. Fun place to visit for the day. Prompt pick up and drop off. We loved our guide. We did the optional buggy ride and had a really good time. The beach club we got to hang out offered a great menu and cold beer! Lovely day spent in paradise.
