Highly recommend. The guide is a trained historia - extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic storyteller - so the history felt engaging and easy to follow. I really appreciated the social and cultural context, including thoughtful acknowledgment of Indigenous lands. The tour was very clear and well paced, and the small group size made it perfect for asking questions and having discussions. We also got great local tips on where to eat and drink, plus a helpful overview of the public market. An excellent way to understand the city and get oriented.

Wonderful nighttime visit

The personable nature of Issac and his extensive knowledge of local history and culture . This was a really nice personal perspective, and Isaac provided options as well. He also ended up joining us for dinner at a small pub and the food was very Brazilian and just a lot of local culture and color. It was really unexpected. It was such a good time that we plan to do another tour with him.
