While the tour was nice and the staff were friendly, I felt a bit deceived by the advertising of this trip as the boat does not actually go onto campeche island. It stops so you can swim in the ocean a way out, but you’re not even allowed to swim to the beach. The waves can be quite choppy and I recommend bringing a waterproof bag for valuables.
