Great tour all around Dunkirk, including all of the notable stops. Guide was very knowledgeable and provided a binder of photographs and maps for visual aides.

We went on this tour because it had such great reviews. I have to say our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and engaging. However we felt the tour was very over priced, the 3 sites we visited were close together, other than information nothing was included in the price to warrant such a high price for such a short tour.

We are sorry to hear that you felt this tour was overpriced. We think it is a pretty fair price, given that we have to pay the guide, the petrol, the taxes... And we feel that it is not expensive compared to similar tours.

We really enjoyed our tour with Freddy! He was nice and had so many great stories about the war. Our tour was on a holiday which made driving around town a little crazy but Freddy handled it and got us where we needed to be. He also changed things up last minute to create a special moment for my friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him!

A wonderful tour around the sites of Operation Dynamo. Our guide, Fredéric (Freddy), was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and experienced. The tour also had information regarding the history of Dunkirk, which was a plus. Overall a very good way to understand the events of that historic operation.

Elise did a great job of putting the battle of Dunkirk into historical context and included multiple perspectives on it. After visiting several key locations, I have a much better understanding of the events of not only Operation Dynamo, but also what the citizens of Dunkirk went through afterwards. Additionally, it was fun to hear some inside scoop in the production of Christopher Nolan’s film.

Emmanuelle (sp?) was an excellent tour guide. I visited the museum first to gain a basic understanding of the Operation, and this tour immediately afterwards was highly complimentary. Seeing the locations with narration was absolutely worth the price. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions; the guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered them all. The driver was also very professional and the drive was comfortable.

It was very interesting getting the French perspective of the evacuation. Alyce was fantastic, the weather not so great . She also took us to the street from the opening scene of the Dunkirk movie which we enjoyed, and then to get a better look at the East mole and English cemetery. Very interesting day. Thankyou

Emmanuel gave a very good tour of the Dunkirk Beach Battle Area and the Story. He was well informed of the events leading up to the dramatic evacuation. He also includes a nice tour of the city of Dunkirk and many of its notable buildings and their history.
One suggestion would be to expand the tour to include the battles around the defensive position that the British and French held that enabled the evacuation: Gravelines, AA Canal and then the ever shrinking perimeter.
