David is an intelligent and engaging guide! We had been in Derry for 30 minutes (having rolled in on the train from Belfast, with just enough time to drop our bags off at the hotel) before rushing off to our scheduled tour with David, so we arrived with many questions and hopes for our time in the city. David shared not only key historical locations and stories, but ensured we knew where to head for specific sights for the rest of our time in his beautiful city. He even made sure we had a good photo with the Derry Girls mural! The rain didn’t interfere with any of our 90 minute tour—just dress for the weather, and bring an umbrella. Highly, highly recommended.

The app gave the wrong time. Fortunately, we showed up early and our guide was there. David was awesome! I walk slow and his pace for the tour was perfect. He explained so much of Derry history to us.

This was an excellent walking tour as the pace of the tour was perfect. Our guide was one of the best guides we have ever had. Not only did he have a great deal of knowledge, his delivery was neutral as he often mentioned the two viewpoints. My wife and I went on several walking tours during our trip to London and Belfast, and this Derry tour was definitely our favourite.

Our guide was so informative and shed so much light on the town of Derry and it's history in Irish culture. As we walked around he explained daily life and history of what we were actually seeing. We really enjoy our time on this tour and learned and saw so much. Got a few good recommendations for food also.

We learned more about Derry but the tour was not very engaging nor entertaining. Overall it was okay but not worth the time or money.

David gave us an excellent tour. He was so informative and very friendly. We have a much greater insight on the city. I would definitely recommend going on this tour with him. It was perfect for our small group. Much better than the large group tours where it’s hard to hear.

We enjoyed a relaxed walk with a knowledgeable, flexible and easy going guide who was clearly keen to show off the main sights of Derry. A highlight was the beautiful church by the side of the wall and the history relating to the wall.
I would recommend this tour if you have a spare few hours in Derry

The city wall tour with David was wonderful! He is an expert on all information concerning the wall and also his city of Derry. If in Derry, make sure and book this tour. Such interesting history explained by an expert guide and so many beautiful views looking out from the top of the walls!

The tour was wonderful and excellent! Our guide went into great detail about the history of the City of Derry and was able to answer whatever questions we could come up with.
