They NEVER showed up for the tour and never communicated a cancelation. Very Disappointed. THERE really is nothing more to say. I went through Viator because I thought that any companies that they would recommend to their customers were already reviewed and was part of the Viator's umbrella because they were a legitimate company, in high regard.

Actually the rating is a ZERO! The tour guide was a NO SHOW and after numerous attempts to phone the contact (number was not in service) we contacted Viator for a refund. The company had asked for names and passport numbers prior to our arrival so I know they had us on “their books” for the tour. What a huge disappointment but thankfully Viator was very receptive. We luckily found another tour company at the cruise ship terminal called Dove Adventures and had a great tour with Anna. Our day turned out fine even with the original tour being a complete bust!

The local tour operator cancelled on us at 8.30pm the night before the tour and we have received no acknowledgement from Viator that our money (CDN$339) will be refunded.

Erick was our guide. He really tried his level best. He took us to most if not all of the places we expected to see. He was open to questions and tried as much as possible to share the information of the attractions we visited. I would recommend him all the time. The fish market, Lutheran church history, a drink on the beach were among the best memories of the tour. Thanks Erick for the experience.

We were met at the port entrance by Our tour guide, and his supervisor, Emmanuel. Eric and our driver Mr. Berry, we’re terrific. As we have mobility issues, they arranged our tour to suit us. Eric took Teresa and I in hand and guided us through museums, wood craving stalls and fabric stalls while Mr. Berry kept our husbands cool. Our lunch was unique, eating in an out of the way cafe that was surprising, and delicious. Yes, we would do it again. If there was something we were not really interested in doing, the plans changed instantly. Eric was knowledgeable and articulate. He was great.

The pickup was on time, so we started off great! Emanuel (guide) & Eric (driver) were both great company. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the city thru local eyes and understanding more about the great life in Tanzania. We went to the Upanga Cemetery, Tanzania museum, kariko market, & various other places. I felt safe the whole time as a solo female passenger. Then we stopped at a great local bar/restaurant off the tourist path & had some wonderful grilled pork chops, ugali & spinach which we shared family style. Then because I have interest in moving to Tanzania, Emanuel showed me great neighborhoods to rent & to buy and took me to a local beach which was super fun. Definitely book with this tour it was a great experience!

O único ponto negativo: meu guia não
falava espanhol,como na reserva.
Mesmo assim foi uma experiência magnífica com um guia-Gabriel e um motorista exclusivos.
Conheci o grande mercado de peixes,
O Kariakô- área gigantesca de comércio e andei com o Gabriel por grande parte do centro da cidade.
Fomos almoçar em um restaurante africano típico e no final tomar umas cervejas em um belo lugar, à beira mar. Adorei tudo.
O programa foi um pouco diferente do original,mas acredito que melhor.
