Stepping back in time to “Dallas”

Great tour around what was a growing up TV show for us, as we visited the actual ranch they used for filming the hit TV series Dallas, JR’s bedroom and bathroom were exactly as I had remembered and the whole ranch had that cowboy feeling. From what we were told the new owners are heavily investing in the property to maintain it and also provide an event space on a cowboy theme….

Our initial reservation was cancelled by the venue due to a last minute private booking. Rebecca, the owner of the tour company, called us right away and was able to reschedule the tour within the duration of our trip which was great. We were really looking forward to going on this tour! Erin, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about everything Dallas, both the city itself and the TV show. She added so many little details that made the tour even more memorable. It was like being shown around town by a friend. Rebecca also made some great suggestions on restaurants and suggested making reservations plenty ahead of time which turned out to be very valuable advice. Everything that was recommended was fabulous. Erin also took us around Highland Park and noted several palatial properties owned by a few of Dallas' elite. I can't say enough great things about our tour. It exceeded all of our expectations. Five stars all the way!

Our tour guide was personable, professional and down-to-earth at the same time! Learned some interesting facts about the city of Dallas as well as the 'Dallas' ranch, especially the history. Also a glimpse into the filming of the series & special effects used. Great photo ops!
