Weather was hot, bring water. You should have an interest for old historie grounds or it may become boring.

Day trip to Hue

I cannot recommend this trip enough. I ended up being by myself as my husband was ill and the team, Ms Van and the driver looked after me really well and ensured I had a brilliant day. It was very informative around the historic areas and lots of time for photos. Lunch was very authentic in a lovely local restaurant. The boat tour on the perfume river was enjoyable, as was learning about the pagoda. The Hai Van Pass is also very scenic.

Our driver was great! Safe and took care driving. Our guide was also excellent. She was knowledgeable, had great English skills and answered all our questions. She let us go at our pace which happens to be quicker than the average. I would have no hesitation to recommend this day trip.

Good experience. Beautiful place to visit. We have to cut short our visit because of our appointment in Danang. Our guide Tony see to it that we visit the best point of interest in the area. Our drive from Danang to Hue was great too because our driver gave us good information of the places we pass along the way.

Loved this tour! Debated doing it as it’s a ways from where we are staying in Da Nang, but so glad we did. The drive there is gorgeous and included a couple of great stops. “Ha” was our tour guide and she was amazing. Her English is great and she understood and answered all of our questions. There’s so much history and interesting facts to learn and she made it fun. Lunch was delicious and Ha explained how to eat some of the food that was new to us.

I booked this private tour from Danang and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to book a day trip to Hue. The pick up and drop off from the hotel was very confident. Our driver Mr. Hao was very friendly, accommodating and a great driver. The drive from Danang to Hue was over two hours but he explained many things during the drive and ensure we were comfortable. Our tour guide we met at Hue, whose name was Fi, was also great and she was very knowledgeable about the rich history of Hue. I learned so much about the history of Hue and the last dynasty of Vietnam. Since this was a private tour, we could really enjoy the tour at our own pace and having the designated driver was also very convenient. If you want to explore Hue while staying Danang, I would definitely recommend this tour!

You communicated your depth of knowledge on the history of Hue and the history and intricacies of the royal families/emperors of Vietnam and their daily life in such a way that brought to life the whole palace life experience. we loved your retelling of history, the political intrigue to the life and death of the emperors. It is one thing to look at a pagoda or tomb. it is quite another to hear you tell the story about it. Thank you for making this tour an amazing experience, your attention to detail, your timeliness and your professionalism. Highly recommended!

We started with a scenic 2 hr drive from Danang, then visited king castle, local eatery, river boat tour and king tumbs. Ruby was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions on very good English. It very satisfying a-z

Informative english language tour

We had an excellent day tour, and everything went smoothly. We were picked up at our Da Nang hotel and proceeded through Hai Van Pass, making a couple stops along the way to take pictures and try some driver-recommended coconut coffee. When we were dropped off at the Tomb of Khai Dinh, we officially met our tour guide, Hoang. Hoang speaks English very well and was extremely informative at each step of the tour. During lunch, we were met with a variety of food that Hoang was more than happy to explain how they're prepared and how to eat them. We had banh cuon, banh khoai, nem lui, and banh beo. At the end of the tour, we said our goodbyes to Hoang, and the driver drove us back to our hotel.
