We had an excellent tour guide. We were in a beautiful jaguar SUV. He took us all around the island to all the hot stuff. We wound up at an organic winery which was also an art museum. We bought six bottles and had them shipped to the United States. The only thing we didn’t care for was the lunch at a restaurant in Fira.
The tour was wonderful.
We did find Santorini to be extremely expensive and the vendor's to be less than honest.

We only booked our guide/driver an hour in advance, so we were nervous. However, Ares showed up on time, in place at the reception of our hotel, and ready to go! He picked the two of us up in a Jaguar F-Pace. We were not sure where we wanted to go, but we wanted to tour Santorini’s wineries. No problem for Ares, he took us to the best wineries in Santorini with a blend in choices between the best wines, the most historic, and the best views, always using his local connections to call ahead and get us a table despite the fact that he only found out what we wanted to do when he picked us up. Best advice I can give, don’t hesitate, they really will go out of their way to give you the tour you want. Thank you Ares!

Santorini is so much more than *just* the view and seeing the island was beyond our expectations. Leading up to our tour they were very responsive and helpful. They were also very accommodating customizing our tour - there were a few sites we wanted to see such as the Akitori ruins, we did not see other sites since that was a bit farther/longer of a tour. The ruins were AWESOME. Our guide Nikos had a lot of helpful insight about the agriculture and layout of Santorini. At the end of our tour he dropped us off at Paralia Perissa, one of beaches and we spent the rest of the afternoon lounging and enjoying the VERY COOL surroundings. Truly unique and would recommend it to anyone

We loved our day out with Panos! In Santorini, a private tour with a local is the best way to see the island if you have limited time. Group tours would get crowded and take away from the intimate experience that Santorini deserves. He picked us up at our Oia hotel on time with no issue and whisked us away in a Mercedes sedan. Very comfortable!
Panos is knowledgeable about Santorini's geography, agriculture, history, and of course all the best photo spots. This tour is best for people who truly want to learn about Santorini and its wonders, not just the Instafamous places (but you'll see those, too).
The itinerary was up to us but I provided my top requests and Panos designed an efficient route to see them all. Starting in Oia, we saw Fira, Thira, Megalochori, a black sand beach, a fascinating wine cave museum and tasting, and some secret spots to get great photo angles of the island. All while chatting away learning as much as we could about beautiful Santorini.
Panos answered our million questions and was very enjoyable and personable to spend the day with. It was like having a local friend show you around their town for the day! We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and can't thank Panos enough for the experience he showed us. Highly recommended!!

We were two hours late for our appointment, due to wind issues and Tinder boats having to wait. Our guide waited for us! What a great tour we had even though we had a shorter time due to these issues!

Sadly, we did not see Santorini. We waited in line to catch the cable car in plenty of time to meet our guide when the electricity failed and the car failed with it. We waited in line for an hour more hoping the power would be restored. We walked to a small restaurant for something to drink - still hoping for power to get us to the top and hoping our guide would have waited as well. With no wifi, we had no means of reaching the guide to advise that we were still trying to get to the top. Taking the stairs or riding a donkey were not viable options for 6 seniors. Over 2 hours later, we finally gave up and returned to our ship. Santorini was to be a highlight of this trip for me, but I'll have to be happy with the distant view I had from my balcony.

We where in contact from the time you were in the ship.
Pick up time was at 10am.
Driver was waiting you till 12.30 PM when you informed us that you will not walk up to the meeting point.
There is no car access to the old port.
The only way to reach Fira town is by cable car (which was not operating due to weather conditions), donkey riding or walking.
It was not our fault that on that day were strong winds .
We suggested alternative options to come up but you denied.
Driver /guide left only when you texted us that you returned to the ship .
1 star rating says that you were very disappointed with our service, which you never used .
Hope you would be able to walk or take donkey up to Fira town and we had the opportunity to show you our beautiful island.

We had the best time with our guide, Natalia! She was so knowledgeable and accommodated every one of our requests. She also is a great photographer and took many of our pictures on our camera for us. There is absolutely no way we would have been able to see as much of the island that we did if we didn’t book this tour. 10/10 would recommended and definitely ask for Natalia—she’s the best!!

Perfect day! We left it up to our driver to show us the Island & culture. Saw many highlights of Santorini without the crowds. Would highly recommend this tour. Give yourself PLENTY of time for the cable car ride back as the lines are LONG, a couple of hour wait time. 4 cruise ships in port that day.

The vistas, the walks through towns, and the geology lesson were all great. The driver was knowledgeable, personable and patient with picture-taking. He was able to maneuver well around the island.

Our guide Nikolas was wonderful! He took our family of five to many places and avoided the crowds, and we were able to see all the highlights of Santorini that we wanted to see and he got us back in time for our ship. I highly recommend Nikolas do anyone visiting Santorini!

Tassos gave us a riveting tour of South Santorini (at our request; it sounds like he’s happy to do a variety of tours).. He was on time, friendly, funny, and a true student of history and all things Santorini. He had an especially great amount of knowledge about the Minoan civilization. My wife and I were delighted with our tour. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Tasos was wonderful! We had him for the morning and he took us all around the island. He accommodated our specific travels that morning including a special lunch stop request we had. Tasos was so friendly, easy to talk to, and taught us so much about Santorini. He made it such a fun experience - we could have spent the day with him!

Excellent and thoroughly recommended. Our tour guide/driver was Natalya. She was amazing; extremely knowledgeable about Santorini in so many ways. She knows the island inside out, had the best recommendations for places to see, was very receptive and understanding, and we also learned a lot of history and science along the way! Danny with Elegant Santorini Tours was the best ! We could not have been more pleased, he picked us up at the confirmed time right where we got off of the cable cars. His vehicle was clean and comfortable. He gave us a great tour full of information on the history and sites of Santorini. Brought us to places of interest and we were able to beat the bus loads of people at the sites.

Our tour of Santorini was absolutely amazing, Nikolos made us feel like family and not just another bunch of tourists. Nikolos made sure we saw all the important sites and we always avoided the crowds. We asked if we could go to a Winery and he made it happen, and the tasting was both informative and tasty. Ask for Nikolos.

While we experienced 1 of the 30 days it rains in Santorini m, our driver made the most of showing us the island where he lives. Not only did he accommodate us with our list of must see places but he enhanced our experience by showing us other places that many tourists miss. It was a great way to learn about the island and see so much beyond the tourist zone. I highly recommend it and Nikos is the guy to ask for.

Niko was our driver for the day which started in beautiful sunny Oia. Unfortunately weather changed and became a bit gloomy but Niko managed to go to all the right places at just the right times. Gave us a great insight into the island, its history and tips for good places to visit and eat during the rest of our stay. We finished with some last minute wine tasting as the rain fell. We were extremely happy at the end of our trip! Thanks Niko . You brought us sunshine on a rainy day!

Tasos took our luggage and loaded it in the van even though we were just going to tour the area of Santorini. Was it the best, he is a passionate history book. He answered all of my questions and knew it in a instant. My sister and I enjoyed the time and it went so quickly! Loved all the scenery.

This tour turned out to be beyond our expectations. Our private driver Manolis drove us around the island from the south end to the north, and told us a lot about the geography and history of Santorini along the way. He also gave us many important safety tips on driving and staying away from the donkeys XD We have two kids who easily get tired and bored from walking, but Manolis always managed to keep them engaged and brought us to great snack shops. He is like a local friend who shows us around and cares for us, not to mention the hundreds of photos he took of us along the way. What a great experience!
I highly recommend this tour, as most villages in Santorini are like mazes and it's very easy to get lost even with GPS and many great photo spots are not well marked in your guides. Manolis saved us so much time, making this 5-hour tour packed with picturesque views.
