Overview
Transnistria is a must place to visit if you are interested in the history of the USSR in Moldova. This "dissident republic" is still politically and economically aligned with Russia and feels very different from other parts of Moldova. Visit the town of Tighina with its medieval fortress, Chitcani and its religious complex, and Tiraspol with its Soviet architecture. Very good and fun trip and more importantly, a safe trip. The guide was excellent and so was his English. Gave us a historical account of Moldova and Transnistria. The guide also gave us the opportunity to buy souvenirs.

A local guide who knew his business and the area. Great English, amazing local knowledge and we felt in very safe hands at all times. He also went out of his way to help us find some old books for our collection and drop us to a different location at the end.

This is an amazing tour that takes you to such a unique part of the world! Transnistria is a place that you must see with your own eyes and not listen to any other entity (news, blogs, etc.). My tour guide, Nicolai, was so so amazing!!! He had endless amounts of information and knowledge to share with me, was a great conversationalist, and had a refreshing sense of humor. If you can get him as your guide, I highly recommend that you do so. As you experience the sites, he is very patient and never rushes you like many others often do. He is one of the best tour guides I've had the pleasure of meeting. Furthermore, this is one of the best tours I've been on as well. I highly recommend this tour and Nicolai!

Andrian is an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the country and the sightseeings we’ve visited. His is on time to pick us up in the morning and work extended hours to fulfill our needs. His service is exceptional. We all specially thank for him including us with local food and restaurants. Nicolai is a great guide and took us to different spots to see how people live with our own eyes instead of just telling us stories. Really appreciated talking with him and having the local point of view. I'd strongly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to explore the real Transnistria.

This is the most real, authentic experience I have had in years. Tatiana provided exceptional insight and history in fluent English (and German). We saw the sites, walked the streets and were fortunate enough to spend time with her family.
Transnistria is safe and accessible and under Tatians guidance extremely fulfilling. The streets busses and cafes are welcoming. This isn’t a formal “tour”. This is a look into real Moldavian and Transnistria’s lives.
Drop what you are doing and go, experience, ask questions and learn. A remarkable day with remarkable people. An experience we won’t ever forget.

I went in this trip solo with my guide Andrean and it was absolutely amazing. Andrean has a wealth of knowledge in this area and I would highly recommend. He is a friendly down to earth guy.
The tour itself is a must. Bender Fortress, Soviet café in Tiraspol, eternal flame, war memorials and much much more. This should be a MUST see place for everybody

I really had no expectations going into this trip but was pleasantly surprised! Everyone was nice, the roads were wide and the parks large. There are numerous cafes, wifi everywhere and quite low prices on everything. There were no hassles or scams and I would totally recommend!

Everything was perfect, Andrian picked us up from our hotel perfectly on time, he is very friendly, on time and well organized
We learned a lot about Moldova and Transnistria from him & the tour was just perfect. Highly recommended
He also adapted to our wishes of spending some time walking around some areas and there were no problems
The food also in the Soviet canteen in Tiraspol was amazing and the vibe of the place was very authentic

This a definitely a very "different" tourist experience - you can rarely visit a little know breakaway republic tucked away in a forgotten corner of Europe. This was a private tour and was very good - we think we got a feel for the place. Gloria took us through all the main sites - not just the USSR nostalgia ones, but also a monastery and an Ottoman fortress

L'escursione merita ogni euro speso. Abbiamo trascorso una giornata meravigliosa, ricca di storia, abbiamo visitato dei posti esclusivi che non si vedono da nessun'altra parte. Wenn man nur 2 ganze Tage in Moldova zur Verfügung hat, muss man natürlich gut auswählen, und so entschied ich mich bei Tag 2 für diese Tour... :) Bei schönstem Wetter von Guide Maria am Hotel abgeholt, ging es auf dieser individuellen Tour nun zurück in die Vergangenheit und in eine gefühlt völlig andere Region... :O Dabei gab es unterwegs sehr viel wissenswertes zu erfahren und es konnten jede Menge Eindrücke gesammelt und Fotos geschossen werden... :D War ein super Tag; vielen Dank an Maria & Agency... :)
