Do t waste your money. This was very dull. Better off just googling whilst walking the city walls. The mispronunciation of the word Grosvenor was so irritating, it made me think the voice must be AI. No little remarks on the quirky stuff. Luckily I googled that and we got to see the imp in the cathedral, the cobweb picture and the coffin at ast Johns church. Very poor tour.

It was a good idea to take this self guided tour. For a cheap price it gave us some structure to our exploration of Chester and made sure we saw everything in an efficient way but at a pace we controlled

We could do it in our own time which was good but the commentary lacked the story telling and human element I could get all the information off the internet I was expecting it to be more than historical facts.

Excellent self-guided tour. Lots of written or audible information on many aspects of Chester. Loved the links to YouTube for extra info if you wanted it. Also links to Google or Apple Maps were really appreciated and made it easy to find our way around. Saw many parts of a Chester I had no idea existed even though I’ve been here many times. Highly recommend.

The tour made us walk and talk as a family and given the range of buildings we viewed the subjects were wide ranging. Definitely recommend as a way to discover a city.

The content was great but the app itself had too many glitches. For one thing, it started playing automatically if it suspected that we were near the site. Oftentimes we weren’t and we had to scramble to shut it off. Second, the directions from one site to another were poor to say the least. Thirdly, it took us about 20 minutes to get the app working at all. The log in code was buried in the ticket.

Narration was a computer generated voice. We couldn’t listen to it! Turned it off after 2 stops. Wouldn’t do it it again
