Great day with stops at Canberra Highlights.
Only five people on the bus so was very easy day. Little bit too much walking for me but you cannot see the sites without walking.
John was very helpful even offering to drop me back to my hotel at the end of the day. Very enjoyable.

Plan your day well, the time goes really fast. Work out what you want to see and stick to it as the driver can try and persuade you to do otherwise which in turn may see you run out of time.

You get information about Canberra that you wouldn't know of if you just drove around yourself. You can't see everything in one day though unfortunately. So pick 2 or 3 places to see. Start early if you can. It will take you all day. John is a friendly tour guide. Thanks John.

The Driver suggested a new route to follow. There were no other passengers that day and he did a minor detour to the National Museum where I could view the Egypt Exhibition and not have to struggle finding transport options. I was dropped off mid morning and as this Exhibition was not listed on the tour drop off or pick up points - he showed me where to catch the only bus back to Canberra City - which was but a hop step and a jump away. Excellent.
I was able to take photo opps from several distancing standpoints and this driver was willing to stop at each venue for but 5 minutes while I shot my photos and then drive on to the next venue.
Overall it was a very useful exercise.
Plus in addition the meeting point at the CMAG also enabled me to discover this excellent Exhibition site and have an enjoyable bite of Brunch there on my return. They actually pulled out all the stops there - putting out a welcome mat and reviewing the excellence of the Egyptian Antiquities site if I should ever get the opp to see it???
So all aims fullfilled in one go! Excellency of Service I could not beat!!?

I am a retiree and met 3 other retirees on the bus. We spent the day together hopping off and on the bus. The driver was a great guide to the sites. He was also very attentive and took the time to remember the names of the passengers. I highly recommend!
