Sensational day spent touring the historic sites of the Anzac campaign in Türkiye. The information and historical data provided by Ibrahim (Ibo) our guide was invaluable. I o had a great sense of humour and the ability to relate the history of this important point in history for both the Türkiye and Australia. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Türkiye.

Excellent day overall, an unscheduled stop was made at a particular cemetery so we could honor a relative buried there, it was much appreciated and our guide was very accommodating and kind.

Our guide was exceptional and very knowledgeable. It was a very informative tour, came away with a lot of information that I didn’t know

I got the tour from Çanakkale, and we got the ferry with our guide Burak to Eceabat on the other side, where we joined up with a larger group for lunch. After lunch we were split into groups to get on minibuses, which for us meant our group from Çanakkale got on one bus together. A precious reviewer mentioned being split up from people they’d met at the start at this point, so it’s good to see that the tour company seemed to have taken this on board and kept our little group together. We stayed with our guide Burak for the rest of the tour as well which was good.
The tour itself involved about 8 steps at various key sites, mostly related to the ANZAC and Turkish parts but there were also some parts relevant to British involvement in the battle. Burak was really engaging, and has been doing this for quite a few years, which really showed as he knew his stuff and seemed to know several historians of the battle personally. I think he was good at pitching the information to what people already knew, and I was particularly impressed that he took the time to get some specific information about a family member of one of the group, who had died in the battle.
At the end of the tour we were taken back over on the ferry to Çanakkale where the tour finished.
Overall, really worth the money and very interesting and well delivered your. Thoroughly recommended!

The tour was well organised. The tour guide was informative and knew a lot about the subject. We learnt lots and with the information given to us made us want to learn more about the subject.

Great experience, wonderful guide both very informed and entertaining, and excellent value overall. Would recommend to anyone.

I was picked up by an engaging & exciting guide in the morning & I met 4 great people who I enjoyed lunch with. As a solo traveler, this was really nice. I was then unfortunately put on a different bus to them all, with a different guide for the tour. I was placed on the front seat and couldn’t hear the guide very well. We didn’t get a great overview of what happened, only of the ‘areas’ where things occurred when we arrived at them. I didn’t find it as informative and engaging as I’d hoped and being split from people and a guide was not ideal.

Hi There
Thank you for your kind review. Sorry we could not imagine that you made friends in such a short time during the lunch. And I guess the main reason to write this review is splitting out from your new friends you just met.We use small vehicles not a coach for the tours and we arrange the tour lists depending on the available seats on the vehicles. That is why not all the travellers coming from the same spot are not always on the same vehicle. We have a couple of guides and all of them have really good reviews from the travellers who joined their tours. We have 9 to 10 different stops on the tour and to give a better understanding our guides give the information at the sights and then give some free time to have a look around because it is a tour not a lecture 😊

We had an amazing time touring Gallipoli. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the Anzacs and spoke with a deep care and respect on both the Anzac and Turkish perspectives of the war.
Would highly recommend.

Our guide Hasan was very knowledgeable and shared some great stories of our Anzacs.
We were meant to go the day prior but my partner woke up ill, so we really appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to attend the following day.

Invested, passionate and well-informed, our guide, Hassan, was an excellent representative for Crowded House Tours. He went to great lengths to ensure the tour party was well apprised of the facts of the campaign and dispelled a number of long held mistruths/myths.
One of the better battlefield tours I’ve undertaken in recent years.

Us Aussies found this such an invaluable experience and will remember it for years to come! Thank you to Ibrahim for sharing all of your knowledge and insight with us.

Burak was a really great tour guide. We were really lucky to have him as he explained so many details of the war very well as we went from place to place. There was also sufficient time for exploring a sight after he explained things to us. The tour was definitely worth the price. I recommend this tour.
Angela_B, Mar 2024
Our guide Burak was extremely knowledgeable and made sense of what occurred. He had a genuine interest in the subject and understood the significance for the Kiwis and Aussies, especially, who make this pilgrimage.

Our tour guide was named Charlie. He met us at our hotel and walked with us to the ferry. We were driven around in a large van across the Gallipoli peninsula with many stops. Charlie is a very good storyteller and made the basics of the campaign and the major motivations of each side very clear. I think this 6 hour tour is a good amount of time to understand and visualize the area and war. Very satisfied with the tour overall. Thank you.

Thank you Crowded House for an experience that I will share with family and friends. The tour guide was exceptional providing us with historical accounts of what occurred at Gallipoli. I certainly felt the memory of those who fought and died were given the respect they truely deserved. “Lest we forget”

Very interesting tour focused on the ANZAC-Ottoman experience. Will have to venture back for the southern beaches and Suvla Bay.
