Our guide Elcan was amazing. So much knowledge about the operations, people and battle defining moments of the Australian, New Zealand and Turkish armies.
The ferry ride was first up followed by a very enjoyable lunch which was needed as the tour then kicks off.
At times hard to fathom the number of soldiers killed on both sides for no real reason.
All up a great experience

I was confident I had a quite good understanding of the story of the Anzac’s but the knowledge and level of detail that Ercan has is incredible
With a fair bit to see he coveted everything so to anyone considering this tour I’d recommend thinking about the 2 day tour to truly soak it all in
Oh and lunch was excellent at Maydos

Ercan was an excellent guide! Very knowledgable and made the story of the events here interesting. This is an extremely important site to both sides in the horrible 1st World War and should be honored by all with a visit to commemorate all those who gave their lives or blood here for their nations.

Wow, we were blown away with the knowledge and passion Apo has for all aspects of the battles at Gallipoli. Not only did he give us information of what happened at Gallipoli, he also shared background stories of some of the soldiers and some of his own research he had under taken. Being from New Zealand, visiting Gallipoli meant a lot to us, and Apo made it a very special day for us.
