I had a wonderful experience with Clover Cabs on a private tour of Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Unfortunately, the rope bridge was closed due to strong wind conditions, which was completely out of the tour company’s control. What I really appreciated was that my guide immediately gave me several alternative options, and even offered to let me choose something else entirely if there was somewhere I particularly wanted to see. That flexibility made the experience feel truly personal.
The tour was an excellent value for the experience, especially for a small party. Since I was traveling solo, the cost is naturally higher than joining a large group tour, but I still felt it was well worth it for the personalized experience, flexibility, and ability to enjoy the sites without being tied to a large tour group’s schedule.
My guide also shared so much interesting history about Ireland during the drives and while visiting each site. It really added another dimension to the experience and made the journey between stops just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves.
And then there was Clover! 🐶 Clover, the sweetest dog, came along for the day and was an absolute star. She attracted attention everywhere we went and was such a fun addition to the experience.
I would absolutely recommend Clover Cabs to anyone looking for a more personal, private experience—especially small groups or families who want flexibility rather than being part of a large tour. It was a fantastic day, and I’m so glad I chose a private tour!
