This excursion took a busload of us from Burnie to Wing's Wildlife Park in Tasmania. The park was full of native animals and birds, and there were great opportunities to take photos because you were close to the animals. Our tour guide Dennis, a native Tasmanian, told us a lot about the areas we drove through to get to the wildlife park. We also stopped by the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden on our way back to Burnie although the rhodies were not in season in April. It was definitely a worthwhile excursion.

Thank you for your lovely review—we’re so pleased you enjoyed your day with us.
Wings Wildlife Park is always a highlight, and it’s great to hear you had those close-up encounters and photo opportunities with Tasmania’s unique animals. Dennis will be especially happy to hear your kind words—his local knowledge and storytelling really do bring the journey to life.
While April isn’t peak season for the rhododendrons, we’re glad you still enjoyed the visit to Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens. Each season offers something a little different, and we like to include a mix of nature, scenery, and local insights along the way.
Thanks again for choosing eGuide for your Burnie shore excursion—we’re delighted you found it worthwhile and hope to see you back in Tasmania again soon.

We really enjoyed this tour. At Wings Wildlife Park, we saw several Aussie animals, fed kangaroos, and petted a koala bear. Even though the rhododendrons were not in bloom toward the end of summer, walking around Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden was pretty and it was fun searching for platypus in the lakes.

Thank you for your lovely review. We’re really pleased you enjoyed the tour and had the chance to see so many Australian animals at Wings Wildlife Park, including feeding the kangaroos and getting close to a koala — those are always special moments for visitors.
While the rhododendrons at Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden are most spectacular in spring, it’s still a beautiful woodland garden to walk through at any time of year, and many guests enjoy the peaceful lakes and the fun of looking for platypus in the water.
Thank you for choosing to tour with eGuide on our Burnie shore excursion, and we’re delighted you had such an enjoyable day exploring Tasmania’s north-west.

This tour was amazing. The zoo had all sorts of native animals. The botanical gardens were so beautiful. I wish there were more time to spend at each attraction. The drive was also amazing looking at the countryside

Brilliant trip and our guide Howard was fantastic. The scenery of Burnley is so beautiful Just driving through and through Howard, we learned a lot about Tasmania. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning and it was a nice easy easy walk-through them with plenty of opportunities to take photographs. The highlights of the day for me was the wildlife Park where I had time to arrange an extra experience of cuddling a Tasmanian devil but there were lots of native wildlife there who are obviously very well cared for. We also love the emu rhododendron gardens and managed to spot platypus in the lake. Would definitely recommend this trip brilliant value for money.

This was a wonderful tour. My friends and I enjoyed it immensely. The wildlife park was amazing, allowing us opportunities to interact with wallabies and kangaroos as well as see Tasmanian Devils, echidnas and wombats. David, the owner of the tour company, was wonderful. Our group did not get the message of a change in the tour start time, so we were 30 min. late. David personally drove us 1 hour to catch up to the tour. He also gave us a free excursion the following day during our stop in Hobart. Could not have asked for better customer service.

Hi Terrell,
Thank you so much for your support, we are so sorry for our error with the communication. We always have vehicles on standby and to ensure we provide the best possible service in a situation like this. We are so happy you enjoyed the park and it is a wonderful experience to see all of these animals up close and have a chance to interact with them. It was our pleasure to compensate for this with an extra tour and it was great to have you along for both tours! Thank you so much for your support.
