Go North of the rocks on Cable Beach at the Vehicle Access Entrance and look for the camels in Blue Blankets. First go to the Surf Club, go down onto the beach, look at the ocean and turn to your right, go past the rocks.

What a beautiful experience .As the sun dipped low into the horizon, , we swayed gently atop our camels, their padded feet whispering across the sand. Our guides, made the journey not just scenic but joyful. The ride was very pleasant and slow moving.

A fun way to experience Cable Beach. The staff were friendly and experienced. Took photos for us with our own phones and chatted to us along the way. The camels were sweet and well behaved, but as it was our first time riding a camel, we’re surprised that it is a bit uncomfortable but well worth it. Recommended.

The staff are very helpful and friendly as are the camels😊.We found an hour a bit too long we were very uncomfortable on the saddles a killer on the legs and back.But having said that the sunset tour the scenery was lovely and the staff took many photos for us .

A bucket list event not to be missed! Yes it was hot and sweaty at 35 degrees but the whole experience was worth it. The camels were gentle creatures and the scenery was breathtaking. The guides were more than helpful in taking heaps of photos and videos at our every request and answering all our questions. Received lovely pearl earrings momento too. You just have to do it!

Plan to arrive a little earlier since it's a fair walk from the parking lot to the camels.
Can wear anything - shorts, flip flops, whatever you'd like.
The crew are very good at taking photos of you with your camera as you go along.

Wonderful way to experience the last sunset of the year! Alison and the team were great, telling many stories about the camels. Agealong camel was the cutest and a little cheeky. We loved the ride!

What an amazing and truly unique time! Blue is the original one so you definitely want to book with Alison and her team! I advise getting there early as directions and maps can look deceiving! I got there a bit too early but better to be early than late. The team, Stephen, Jade? And other amazing! She took so many quality and amazing photos with my phone, if i only could replicate! Above and beyond customer service! Great day! Only gripe is I didn’t get a pair of fake pearl eye rings you ladies will get. I have many women who wanted them!

The camel ride was lovely.
The booking with Viator was not helpful. The meeting location that Viator gave us on the booking was not correct. We had an older person who was made to walk to the given location to be told that this was actually the incorrect spot and we then needed to walk to the opposite end of the beach.
We had to call the lady running the camels and pleaded with her to wait for us. It was such a waste of time and we were all stressed. So just book your camel ride through the actual camel company.

Yes Viator have not been helpful to us in this regard. Unfortunately this review is for Broome Camel Safaris and not Viator. We have actually been able to change the meeting place with Viator (I hope it worked) now. So hopefully everyone from now on should be able to meet us in the correct location. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the camel ride.

Turned up at the location but most of the area shut off due to construction going on. Thankfully turned up a little earlier and parked at the main beach carpark. Wasn't too much of a walk up the beach to the location. We'd also forgotten to sign the waiver forms, so had to struggle with a phone signal to get it done. Recommend you do it before turning up as it just saves messing around We were introduced to our camel and jumped aboard some very comfy seats. It was all very nice, bobbing along the beach taking photos of the journey. Staff were also chatty, helping with any questions and also helped get photos from various angles. Came away with some good sunset shots, and who knew our camel was so photogenic. After the trip, fed them a carrot, which seemed to go down well. All in all, a good experience.

This was such an awesome experience! Riding camels along the beach at sunset was absolutely magical, and the whole tour was really well organized. What made it extra special was the organizer had runners walking alongside the camels, ready to take photos on your phone whenever you wanted. Every request I made, even stopping to snap a picture of a starfish on the sand, was happily done – all included in the price, no extra charge. The photos turned out amazing, and it meant we could just relax and enjoy the ride.

The Viator meeting point is WRONG.
Go to Cable Beach Surf Club and go right to other side of rocks. Blue group of camels.
Sunset ride is the best, amazing colours and a bit cooler. Casual easy going, highly recommend doing it.

Loved the tour but we almost missed it because the map on the Viator app was incorrect! Very upset and frustrated by this, we contacted the tour operator just in time to confirm the correct meeting point and had to run to get there! Not ideal for people in their 60’s!

The ride was great and we have some really nice pics taken by the staff.
However the Viator page has 2 problems. First, there are 2 camel operators. This ticket is to the company with blue saddle cloths not the red saddle cloths. Second, the map is inaccurate, showing a street corner which is 500 metres away from the check in point. You need to go to the end of the road, then down the 4WD track and head north up the beach

It wasnt that easy to find where to get down onto the beach and find the group, not being familiar with the area and the taxi driver had no idea, but once we finally got there, it was fabulous.
We were late, so I recommend getting there at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. We didnt know to do this and so things started very rushed. Once there, they looked after us very well. Everyone was very forgiving of our lateness and we had a magical time.

Extremely hot when we did it so hands were slipping on the hold on bar. Mosquitos were vicious at sunset so be prepared. We were on the biggest camel with a cheeky one behind who wanted to play. We did the 1 hr and it was a bit long with our leg issues but otherwise everyone else was fine. It was a great experience overall that needed a cold beer afterwards definitely!
