Overview

Get onto a catamaran in Roebuck Bay and try your hand at catching Kimberly Mud Crabs for yourself. Your guide will help you meander through the mangroves to find the mud crabs, and then you get to cast your pot, and feel the suspense when it is time to pull your pot out and see what you’ve caught. Afterwards you’ll get to try the meat, prepared for you onboard.

Pickup details

Pick up time will be between 10 and 40 minutes prior to cruise departure time. We will advise you of a pick up time on the morning of your cruise once all passengers have specified their location. Please meet us out the front of your accomodation. We do our best to be punctual however sometimes delays occur at pick up points so please be aware that in some instances the transfer vehicle may run 5 -10 minutes behind.

An amazing day, friendly crew and a great group of potential crabbers. I enjoyed putting in the pots, pulling the pots and the excitement of wondering if we had caught a crab. A total of 7 male muddies were placed in the big boiler and eaten with rice, fresh bread and if you wanted with a home made chilli sauce. Yummy!!!!!!!!

A Fun Day Out

Sailing on a catamaran seeing dolphins and other sea life on a great blue sky day was just great. Then to venture into inlets and lay traps before catching lunch was a whole lot of fun. Then the crab lunch was obviously fresh and delicious - They should sell the chilli sauce !!! I would definitely recommend this tour

Was a great adventure. I didn't realise how infrequently it ran so we felt very lucky to be able to take part. We caught 7 keeper crabs on our trip and it was very fun to check the crab pots. The crab was very good and so fresh!

Enjoyable Mud Crab Experience

A couple of days ago my family and I went on this tour. We enjoyed spending time out on the water, dropping mud crab pots, using the smaller boat to get around and check them. Food on the boat was good. We caught a few crabs too and were. Able to cook and eat them onboard. It was an enjoyable experience.

This was was a very relaxing experience. Everyone had great fun setting mudcrab pots and pulling them in. Many crabs were caught. Crew then cooked them up for a delicious lunch.
