    Can’t truly recommend

    Paige_K, Oct 2025
I apologize for giving such a low review, however my PRIMARY criticism is that the narrator clearly doesn’t speak Italian. They used a very American pronunciation for every Italian word. I can stay at home for poorly pronounced Italian. The narrator did not even use the proper Italian names of locations we were visiting. This made it almost impossible to locate the places on the map. Save your $6.00. I’m sure there’s other walking tours of this beautiful town.

Ciao, thank you for your review! We are recording again every audio in every language but it takes a lot of time! However for only 6$ (less than a cost of a pizza...) you get: a practical itinerary to explore the city, curiosities and info of the highlights of Brindisi, google maps integration (don't know why you need the perfect pronunciation to find a monument while you have the name and google maps link on your phone 😉) and food tips! I hope that this review will help other travellers! Ciao! Walking Cap

    Worthwhile self-guided tour

Informative and well presented introduction to the history of this town and its important monuments and buildings. Make sure you have cell coverage!

Do it! It was so nicely laid out.

Grazie mille, Matteo, for the amazing tour! We enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend it. The route was so well laid out and I loved that we could just wander along at the end on the waterfront and listen to the last few stops as we strolled. We also capped it all off at one of our favourite places to eat with a couple lovely spritzers and our favourite focaccia in Italy at one of his recommended eateries on the harbour front, Antica Osteria La Sciabica. We actually discovered this place when we first arrived last week and had dinner there so we knew his recommendations were solid! We tried one of his other recommendations for dinner that night and will try others. He is spot on! We really weren’t sure how it would all work, but we prefer being on our own and this was an ideal way to learn about Brindisi. Great tips for how to get around afterwards too. Grazie mille! I will definitely do any tours put together by Matteo.

    Great historical tour of Brindisi

Very good tour of the need to see sights in Brindisi. A lot of historical information at every stop. One of the best self-guided tours ever taken. You need to have internet access, there's no offline version of the tour.

    Hello, ...

    Johanne_V, Sep 2025
Hello, I had trouble "accommodating" myself I had to write to the organizer who sent me a link. The sites proposed and their description were very good but I much prefer, a guide in person. If you are used to self-guiding, I recommend it.

Ciao! I'm glad you enjoyed the digital guidebook! As a tour guide I think it's a good solution when you can't find tours in attendance or want to have the ability to roam freely at your own pace!

It wasn't friendly at all. Getting to the first point and not finding anyone was disappointing. The street recommended for walking was very ugly.

Ciao! The product is a digital guide that you use on your own to visit Brindisi and, as specified in the description and instructions, there is no need to meet in person. I hope this answer will help other tourists as well! Ciao! Walking Cap

    Interesting 2 hours

    Uli_B, Jun 2025
The tour was very informative and good, with good information about the individual stations. Our plan was an audio tour, but (as with some other audio guides) unfortunately with terribly American pronunciation especially of local attractions and Italian names. That is not ok in our opinion. Leading with Google Maps worked well - better would be an integrated GPS Lead. Overall highly recommended 😀
