This experience is amazing. Our guide in Bethlehem was really knowledgeable of the sites while making the explanations clear for all audiences, knew his way around the sites and adjusted logistics properly to avoid as much as possible the larger crowds. For the Jericho portion we went with our driver/guide who was beyond friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable, from sharing fresh baklava to even giving us a small gift to thank our visit. For those worried about safety, going with the tour provided a stronger sense of security since the drivers and guides are locals and they take great care of visitors. You not only learn about the most important sites in history but also get to learn their stories.

The tour was great. The guides are very knowledgeable and passionate about Bethlehem and Jericho and also provided information about the complex geopolitical dynamics between Israelis and Palestinians. I felt safe with the tour group as a single woman in the West Bank. Ladies, dress conservatively. Anyone touring in the West Bank should bring his or her passport AND the paper Stay Permit card issued by Border/Passport Control at the Ben Gurion airport. Travelling to and from the West Bank involves check points, and you may be checked for entry back to the Israeli side.

Due to the war, the tour was a tour to Bethlehem only. It was nice having a private tour like to the places listed. The Church of the Nativity, the milk grotto, and etc was such a spiritual and amazing experience that I do not think anyone will ever have. I had the place to myself. It was so beautiful. Thank you to Elias for everything. He was so funny, a comedian, informative, chill, and awesome guide. Helped me a lot on this trip. Thank you. I can only imagine what it would have been like if I was able to go to the other two locations. Highly recommend this tour!!

The tour guide Elias was excellent, we really like him. The tour to Bethlehem was very nice and informative but the second part to Jericho did not enjoy it much.

Bethlehem due to the significance of this town in my religion. The guide, Elias was super knowledgeable, I highly recommend him! He has great humour as well. Photos included are of the Judean Desert after descending from Jerusalem, Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, The Milk Grotto, Sheperd's Cave and our guide.
Jericho, though the oldest city in the world, is like an unexplored hidden gem, we observed beautiful archeological findings. Photos of Elisha's Spring Fountain, Hisham's Palace with all the mosiacs.
Visiting the baptismal site at Qasr al Yahud was extremely special for me.

The tour guides were factastic, both in the morning and afternoon. They made it fun but also had a lot of really good information to share. They also new how to keep the group organized and stay on schedule so that we weren't waiting around too long for the next activity. Highly recommend the tour.

Our guide was great for the Bethlehem portion. The Jericho portion was good but if I had to decide between the two, the Bethelhem portion was best. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to see both sites. We felt very safe the entire time.

This is a real tour de force of Christian religious and other historic sites in the West Bank, including Bethlehem, the Judean desert, the River Jordan, and several sites around Jericho. It’s a long trip - I left my hotel in Tel Aviv at 05:45 to reach the pickup point on time and got back at 21:00 - which was much longer than I expected. However, if you’re up for an intensive day in a fascinating region - then this is the trip for you. Bethlehem tour guide Elias was a particular star.

Everything about this tour was excellent and memorable. The tour guide Elias gave us very good information in a clear and entertaining way for each place we visited. He was very nice and conscientious of the needs for his group, especially for those who had a hard time walking. He provided extra transport for those who can't walk for long distances when going uphill like in the church of nativity area which we haven't experienced from any other tour guide.

The entire first half of c the tour was rushed to a degree that made it completely unenjoyable. The morning guide seemed in a hurry to get it over with, was far more focused on making sure everyone kept up with him than allowing even a few free moments here and there for photos and seemed to just be going through the motions in regards to the descriptions and history of Bethlehem.
The afternoon portion and guide were much better run and presented
This guide was engaged and seemed to actually care about something other than getting finished.
BTW, we have been traveling around the world for 10 months and have taken dozens of these types of tours arranged through Viator, Trip Advisor and others and have never been even the least bit dissatisfied before.

The guide was excellent. He gave great information about the sites we saw, was funny and answered all our questions. He shared with us his experiences living as a Christian in Palestine. He is definitely a great representative of the company and Israel. The time allotted for each site was adequate and I didn't feel rushed. It was a long day but a great day. Would totally recommend this tour.

This was a great tour. Bethlehem guide, Elias, was very informative and really very funny. We learned and saw so much. I was surprised that we were going back to Jerusalem but it did not take too long. Then we picked up our afternoon guide, Mohammed. I was thrilled because he had been my guide before. Mohammed is a very sincere, kind, and well-mannered individual. He knows a lot of history and can read his group well. He moves the group along in a very polite way. Even though it was a big bus, it wasn't a huge group and the other travelers were amazing. The driver was excellent. Elijah Tours is a very good company.

Great tour guide, very knowledgeable and really looking after everyone, not pushing us to purchasing anything. Only disappointment was we haven’t got the chance to see the spot where Jesus born, too many people in the queue and might take 2-3 hours wait.

This tour is a scam. Once your in the bus they tell you that they are not taking you to to Jericho and other places because “it is dangerous” and then try to take you more money to change destinations to other places. For example they were not going to take us to Jericho with that excuse saying that “it is dangerous” but instead they tour you into a bunch of souvenir shops that are their Allies. We had to ask around the locals to corroborate the story of Jericho and other destinations if they were really dangerous and it was a lie so we had to confront them and pressure them to take us where we hired them to go. They were not only changing us the tour to stops in a bunch of souvenir shops but also trying to take us Money to make get to other parts. A scam! Don’t take it

Amir our tour guide went above and beyond. His knowledge of all the biblical sites we saw and his recounting of all the stories was very much appreciated. He made sure we all had a chance to do everything we wanted. The list is long: all the sites in Bethlehem. The banksy mural, the Volkswagen tree the sycamore tree, Jericho, Jordan River baptizing site, the mount of temptation and old Jericho. A full day with so many memorable stops.
