The jeep ride at times was very rough, make sure that seat belts are actually safe before you travel. The highlight of the trip for me was the monastery at Machairas.

A nice relaxing tour but the land rover was very old and dirty. Swimming time at lagoon was too short.

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are pleased you enjoyed our Enchanted lagoon jeep safari with our Driver Nearchos. Yes our jeeps are old. Here in Cyprus we are only allowed to use the 10 seater Landrover defenders for Safari and unfortunately they dont make them any more. So yes they are old and dusty and rough but they take us to amazing places where normal cars could not. Got to love our loyal landrover defenders for that :)

THE BEST PARTS:
1. THE GUIDE (JOHN): The guide John is a pleasant, chatty and informative guide who was highly organized and timely. He ensured that the trip had the right amount of historical info, fun facts and also, jokes. He was easy-going, pleasant and ensured our fun and safety at the same time. I highly recommend John as a guide in this company for his professionalism, easy-going nature, tidbits of interesting information on Cyprus and just the way that he organized the trip on time.
2. THE MEDIEVAL "GHOST VILLAGE" OF FICARDOU: I lived in Cyprus from 1986 - 1993 and was surprised to find out that it has a medieval "ghost" village that is a protected UNESCO site! Wow, what a fascinating place! If you are interested in "ghost towns" like Varosha, this one is a gem. The village that was once inhabited by the Knights Templar is now a ghost town with one functioning (yet very famous) taverna where you get to eat wonderful traditional Cypriot meals for an amazing price!
3. THE LAKE: The lake in a stone quarry is one of the warmest and clearest mineral lakes I have ever swam in. It was stunning against the backdrop of the stone. Makes for wonderful pictures!
THINGS TO IMPROVE:
1. I wish there was more "rough" driving as per jeep off-roading but I understand that we have to take care of a few passengers who may be carsick or not used to off-roading.
2. Although Lefkara is beautiful, I think another visit to another smaller, lesser-known village would be much more welcomed by me. I love Lefkara for its beauty and crafts but it is highly touristic and very wealthy in its own right. I want to see more of the off-the-beaten-path villages that don't get a lot of highlight when they should as they are quaint, stunning and relics of the bygone way of life.

Firstly our driver was a lovely man.
But the jeep is so crammed full of people you have no room especially is tall or larger person.
Its alot of driving an not much time at all the stops enchanted lagoon was lovely an the monestry i was hoping it would be far more exciting an learn more then i did but was still a good day an lovely to see other parts of Cyprus thank you.

Thank you Emma for your feedback. Sadly the Jeeps can feel a little campt if people are large or tall even though we don't fill the jeeps to its capacity of 10 passengers as registered. We try to only put 8 passengers for more comfort. Apologies if you felt you didn't have enough time at each of the stops, I will be addressing this with our drivers as we praise ourselves for allowing people to enjoy at their leasure. We had a great day out. Our guide, Adam, was lovely and very knowledgable and as we were only a group of four we were able to stop at places he thought would be of interest along the way. The places we went to on the tour were very interesting and the swim in the lagoon, although cold, was good fun - don’t forget your wet shoes as it is quite stony.

Une très belle journée passée en compagnie de Adam qui nous a partagé son savoir sur l’île de Chypre et ses paysages plus beaux les uns que les autres. Nombreux arrêts pour soit nous faire découvrir un lieux pittoresque où la natures sauvage de l’île.
Et que dire de cet arrêt rafraîchissant, si ce n’est qu’il est arrivé au u bon moment : baignade et plongeons !
