My wife and I really enjoyed our day trip through Wadi Rum with Bakar (pardon my spelling). He was super friendly and had a joyful sense of humor.
The lunch he made was excellent and he showed us so many beautiful places in Wadi Rum.
We'd highly recommend touring with him.

fantastic experience. Solo travelled and felt really safe. Taxi in to the village in wadi rum, had a good group. Went into the desert and climbed up the rocks and learnt about the bedouin way of living. Beautiful sunset also.
Would say - bring water (it was fantastic but we did not get a lot whilst there) and shoes to climb. Bring toilet paper as v few toilets (nature)
At the end we spent the evening at the camp and it was lovely. The owner also dropped me back in the village for a taxi as i was not staying the night!

... but it was impossible. I admit that I booked this activity at the beginning without really knowing what to expect, especially to please my partner. Well, I'm really glad I did! All day long, we saw splendid landscapes in the company of an extremely kind, attentive, funny and generous guide (ask for Rachid, you'll see!), roamed the desert, ate local dishes and had tea with the locals... At the end of the trip, when we couldn't get a taxi back to Aqaba, they took pity on us and brought us back to town (even though it wasn't planned), that's how welcoming they are. I'd highly recommend it to everyone !

An unreal experience in a surreal landscape! It was so cool to be out there. Something I didn't expect was to do so much hiking/walking around. Nonetheless, it was still a wonderful experience being out in the Wadi Rum for a day and night. I think two nights would have been too much.

We had an amazing day with our driver/guide in the Wadi Rum desert. The day contained a lot of hiking to different rocks/viewpoints, but every “station” had a resting area where you got tea or you could buy cold drinks.
It really was a whole day tour, we got back to the departure point after 8PM.
I recommend this activity!

Wadi Rum is one of my favorite places on the planet, and Wadi Rum Bedouin Guide is a top-notch tour company that made my visit even better than I had expected. Our guide Bakhar felt like a member of our family by the end of the day, and he made everyone in my family see the wonder and beauty of Wadi Rum in a deeply personal way. My 18-year-old son said it was the best travel experience of his life, and my wife and I both agreed. A perfect day tour. A great deal of that was due to Wadi Rum itself, but the day was made truly spectacular thanks to our new friendship with Bakhar.

The trip started from the Wadi Rum rest house which is a short drive from the Wadi Rum visitors centre.
The tour in the 4x4 was really good with a break for lunch cooked in the desert near Lawrence house and finally finishing with a beautiful sunset.
Choosing to stay overnight in the Bedouin camp was a great call as you get to feast on a delicious dinner and the a fantastic view of the stars.
All in all one of the best days spent in Jordan.

Our family of four (two adults and two children) enjoyed the full day jeep tour of Wadi Rum. The start was a bit chaotic- parked our car at the Wadi Rum Rest Village and climbed into the truck bed of a rather well used (read dilapidated) truck complete with multiple cracks across the windshield, the cab apparently full of trash and a suspension which was ready to give out with every bump! I would say that this was exceptional - but looking around, most of the vehicles were in the same condition.
I wouldn't call this a tour - given how little information our "guide" was interested (or able) to share with us - it was more of a guy driving us between notable sites in wadi rum. Each site, he would point in a direction that we should go and then disappear into the requisite hut until we returned.
That being said - we had read about the sites before coming - so we had an inkling of what we were looking at (or standing on). Natural bridge, Lawrence's house (the house is a cinder block construct at the base of the mountain - the best part was the climb and overlook), we hiked/climbed to a few vantage points to take in the alien beauty of the land, there was also a rift in the mountain that we hiked into and a larger canyon that we hiked through with the driver picking us up on the other side. The weather was dry but hot as the day progressed - we brought our own water though the guide had some water in the back of the vehicle.
Around midday, we stopped for lunch in the shadow of a large mountain - two other trucks with their guests stopped at the same location. The group of tourists sat and chatted for over an hour while the cook made a vegetable stew. The guides (ours included) spent the time napping and smoking from a hookah as we watched and waited - before joining us for a lunch of vegetable stew, hummus, bread and warm sprite and fanta.
By this point - we had seen enough of Wadi Rum to last a lifetime - and ready for the "tour" to end. Several stops remained before we were dropped off at our car after 1600. One of the tourists with us had bought the overnight package and he was dropped off at a tent city in the middle of the desert.
Overall, for what it was (a driver moving you between sites within the Wadi Rum desert) - it was ok. The price was reasonable for what you get - we had an experience we won't repeat - and for the forewarned tourist (expectation management and read ahead/ watch youtube videos), I'd recommend this tour. We all returned unharmed, the truck didn't break down in the desert and we didn't contract dysentery from the lunch. A net positive experience.

What a great experience, our guide was Yusef, the King of the Desert. He was very knowledgeable of the area and even made a few changes to the routine to fit our needs, we had visited some of the spots previously. The food he prepared was delicious and we even had down time for the warmest noon hours. The owner greeted us in the morning and explained the whole tour. I would definitely use them again if I visit Wadi Rum.

Amazing experience with Youssef and the staff. They were very helpful and reactive in arranging transport to come on site from Aqaba til I left for Petra. I recommend to take the Bedouin camp option for the night. On top of the magical place and simple but comfortable accommodation, the Staff made so much to make us comfortable and share their experiences.

Cannot recommend him highly enough to show you around what has to be one of the most awe-inspiring, energetic tours ever. Besides the professional and interesting tour in the Wadi Rum desert I would like to highlight the hospitality of our guide Feras. My wife had high fever and was invited to sleep in his house. When we had a problem with our rental car, Feras called his relatives who jointly helped to fix the car. Amazing hospitality!

The tour was nice overall, and I am very grateful that the provider met me and even allowed me to take a longer tour instead of the usual half-day tour. It was very friendly and attentive.
Important for future guests:
The standard Jeep tour takes about four hours in both cases.
If you want a longer tour, it is best to book the option with overnight stay, which actually seems cheaper, but takes longer to weigh the overnight stay – simply because there is no need to arrange a return transport on the same day. That was a bit confusing for me at first, so I mention it here.
The tour itself was rather quiet and freely designed. We had enough time to look at everything in peace, take photos and enjoy the scenery.
The guide was friendly and respectful, and I appreciated the flexibility and relaxed atmosphere.

Très belle expérience dans le désert, nous avons vu de beaux endroits.
La nuit dans le camp bédouin est particulièrement unique, le partage, l’endroit, regarder le ciel autour d’un feu de camp et surtout un incroyable silence.
Je n’ai pas mis 5 étoiles car le guide (très gentil aucun problème la dessus) ne parlait pas très bien anglais et surtout pas très fort.
Il ne nous donnait pas l’heure du repas, du petit déjeuné, du départ du camp le lendemain. Voilà seule petite critique.
