Overview

Visit Sandland, the international sand sculpture festival of Antalya. Located at Lara Beach and stretching for approx. 6.2 miles (10 km), the world’s largest sand exhibition attracts thousands of visitors year-round. Themes and sculptures on exhibit are changed annually by participating artists who sculpt 10,000 tons of sand.

Overall, we had a poor experience there. It was too small, had just a couple of sculptures, and had no shade from the heat. It took 5 minutes for us to go around and take pictures. Not worth $30!

Our exhibition covers over 7,000 m² and features around 200 sand sculptures created from 10,000 tons of river sand by international artists. Because all sculptures are made only from sand and water, occasional surface cracks or minor wear can appear after rainfall — this is a natural part of the living nature of sand art, not neglect. Our maintenance team continuously restores and protects the artworks throughout the season, and we always aim to present the best possible experience to our guests. Tourist-Trap die man nicht gesehen haben muss

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes (Freilicht-) Sandmuseum mit insgesamt ca 20 Skulpturen. Laut ihrer Infotafel ist die Sandpyramide wohl im Guiness World Record Buch für die längst bestehende Sandskulptur der Welt. Das Thema war Space - Skulpturen aus Film/Fernsehen und Planeten waren zu sehen - leider fast alle schon teilweise beschädigt. Die Raketen waren alle verdeckt, ich tippe hier auf einen starken Sturm, der diese beschädigt hatte. 10€ pro Person lohnt sich hier leider nicht.
