Natalie was a great guide. We went loosely with a few ideas of what to see and she timed everything well. We saw the Alcazaba, heard about the city's history while visiting the statue of its founder & we dropped by the outside of the Cathedral (it was sadly closed to the public). We ended as she dropped us off a great traditional tapas bar for lunch. Her English has a little ways to go but we understood most of it. Plus, she also tolerated my limited Spanish when I asked questions (seemed like we were a good match 😁).

Our guide Melanie was great communicator before and during the tour. The tour was informative and beautiful. Almeria is a beautiful and historic city.

Our guide was wonderful and had read what we wanted out of the encounter. When he got too strong on history, we said something and he toned that down. When we asked a question and he didn’t know, he admitted that. We very much enjoyed hearing about his family and pt job while saving to go back for advanced college degree to be a teacher. We like the private tour guide.
