Absolutely amazing experience — highly recommend this tour.
Huge thanks to the incredible crew: Alex, Chris, and Vale. From the very first moment, they made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The tours themselves were fantastic, with great stories and insights about the Whitsundays, and safety was clearly their top priority at all times.
What really made the difference was the attention to detail: we were taken to each location early, before it got crowded, which made the experience feel special and relaxed. They also went out of their way to help us get beautiful photos in every spot. As a bonus, they even invited us to the after-party, which was a great way to end the trip.
Professional, friendly, fun, and genuinely caring crew — this trip exceeded all expectations.

This is what we love to hear! 🙌⛵
Massive thanks for the kind words — Alex, Chris and Vale will be stoked! Early arrivals, crowd-free moments and helping you snag those unreal photos is all part of the magic out in the Whitsundays 🌊📸
So good you felt safe, looked after and part of the fun (and made it to the after-party 😉). That’s exactly the vibe we aim for.
Come back anytime for round two!

We enjoyed this adventure. The snorkeling was amazing, and we were the first ones on Whitehaven Beach in the morning! The crew was great, very friendly and interactive with the guests. Sleeping quarters were tight, which was mentioned in the description. On our trip the age range was 22-38 so we initially felt out of place, being 60+. But the crew did a great job of making us feel welcome.

So glad you enjoyed your adventure! 🌊⛵
The crew will be thrilled to hear your shoutout — amazing snorkelling, early access to Whitehaven Beach, and making everyone feel welcome no matter the age makes for the perfect Whitsundays experience! 🐠🏝️
Thanks for sharing — we’d love to welcome you back for another unforgettable trip!

Do yourself a favour and book this amazing experience. I’ve never lived on a sailboat overnight and was apprehensive at first but thanks to skipper Alex and his crew Kayla and Kianna, they did the absolute most to make my journey comfortable and memorable. On this trip I saw whales (breaching), sea turtles and even dolphins. Snorkelling amongst some of the best reefs in the world where corals were plentiful in type and colour. Whitehaven beach was even more amazing having been the first ones to touch down on the beach before the later crowds came in. Food was nothing too fancy but was tasty and delicious and very impressive for the resources available on the sailboat. Do come prepared knowing there is essentially no shower onboard other than a quick rinse to get rid of seawater. Overall this experience was one for the books and it’s all thanks to the amazing crew!

The OzSail team, led by Captain Alex, was fantastic! The crew was attentive, the Whitsunday Islands stories were captivating, and the food was delicious throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

My sister sister-in-law and I joined a younger group of guests and we were apprehensive about whether we would be able to be comfortable sitting on a flat sailboat or sleeping in bunks but it was fine. We sat or laid on the deck or there's an area where you can dangle your feet. We brought towels and pillows to sit on, but they did allow you to use the blankets they had there. Space is limited but you don't need to bring a lot of clothes. You have to get your bag into the bunkbed with you so that was the only thing that was a little bit tricky. I didn't have any trouble sleeping though. I also am prone to motion sickness and I had no sea-sickness at all. Out in the beautiful weather and the blue sky with the wind blowing and the boat sailing along was magical. The snorkeling was fantastic; three different locations which each had their own beauty with lots of healthy-looking coral and lots of beautiful fish. We also saw whales and dolphins! Visited Whitehaven Beach and went hiking, which was great. Breakfasts are simple, lunches fairly simple, but the crew does their best to keep everyone happy and cooked a delicious hot meal for dinner both nights which were fantastic! At night we watched fish and dolphins come up to the boat where the lights were under the water. We watched the sunset and the sunrise every day. My sister and I were the first ones up every day and it was still dark out. The crew Alex, Kate and Tobey were lovely. We received good instructions on how to keep things running smoothly (such as the toilets) and there were no problems. It's not a party thing but you can bring drinks and quietly enjoy yourself. If you want to go to bed at 8:30 you can or you can stay up till after midnight under the stars. We are really into birds and saw a lot of great birds including the white-bellied sea eagle. I think this trip was worth every penny and I would do it again. Personally, I wouldn't mind having it quiet part of the time and not having the music playing the whole time we were on the boat. Also, unfortunately, the front sale ripped so we were powered by motor the whole time which it was not obtrusive, but I'd love to be out there with just the sale propelling us and no other sound. Personal preference. Captain Alex was great and shared a lot of his personal perspective on the reef, which was informative, but not necessarily encouraging conservation and limiting of carbon oil burning, etc. which I think is important personally. He's obviously been sailing for many years and his expertise was valuable and appreciated. He made sure we all kept safe and had a great time. 🐠🐟🐬🐋🪸

Alex, Kate, and Tobey will love knowing they made your trip so special. We appreciate your feedback on the music, sailing, and conservation discussion, and we’ll take that into consideration.

We just departed from the “Spank Me” and we had a great time! Accommodations were about what you’d expect from a racing sailboat, and Captain Alex takes you around to some beautiful places and great snorkeling spots. Marie and Molly cooked us up some really yummy food, and helped us out with whatever we needed. It was fun getting to know the 22 other people on board, and watching the beautiful sunsets. You share a room with lots of other bunk mates, and there isn’t much privacy, but somehow you make it work. If you are a sensitive sleeper, definitely bring earplugs. Alex played great beachy music while we were docked, and everyone just chilled and talked. I would recommend this trip for an adventure to see some beautiful sites.

I had a great time on the ‘Spank Me’ boat. The crew was awesome, food was good, and snorkeling/beach excursions were fun. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Thanks Ozsail!

We are korean tourists! We were able to see whales, dolphins and turtles on this tour. It was a great experience and an unforgettable memory. The entire tour team sweetly took care of the passengers. This is a tour I would like to participate in again if given the opportunity.

We loved going snorkling, swimming, camping one night on an island. Food was good and crew was very nice. A lot of people on the boat but everyone was friendly.

Good: Seeing the Whitsunday Islands, visiting Whitehaven Beach highlight of the trip, numerous opportunities to snorkel and see some of the Great Barrier Reef, friendly crew
Bad: I did not expect the cruise to be so barebones. You get a bunk belowdecks, but you end up having to stay up top most of the time or you'd get seasick. There is nothing on deck so you just end up sitting shoulder to shoulder with the other passengers, with no shelter from the sun and cigarette smokers chain-smoking next to you. You are allowed a 1 min rinse per day since water onboard is limited, so you feel gross all trip. The marine toilets stink. I could go on. It's probably an adventure more suitable for college students or young backpackers, but for anyone over 30 who's used to hotel-level accommodations, it's an uncomfortable way to spend two nights. I couldn't wait to get off the boat.
