A great trip

Aaron_G, May 2023
Had a great time seeing the Whitsundays and surrounding reefs. The boat holds 26 passengers so it’s a really social boat with a great mix of people. Dave and his crew Tyler and Casper were fantastic guides and great hosts. Would 100% do again.

Dear Aaron, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to have you back again in the future. OzSail Team

Review of Boat Trip

Harry_C, Dec 2022
The tour guides were relatively friendly. The pickup point map was incorrect, you need to ensure you go to the address and ignore the map as it was contradictory. The tour left fairly promptly after 11am. It was fairly expensive for you got, considering the only good part was the wildlife, and thats not a given; however as we saw lots it was worth it. There is very limited shade on the boat and the private cabins on the outer hulls were very hot, noisy and hard to sleep in. Not a very relaxing trip but worth it if you want to potentially see some cool wildlife.

Highly recommend it!

Amazing

The “captain” Alex has a great sense of humour. The crew are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Amazing sailing experiences , best snorkeling experience was at Mantaray Bay. We were the first group on the Whitehaven lookout and beach which was so peaceful. Food was basic would be nice with more fruits and snacks after all the physical snorting.

Do the trip you won't regret it it's awesome

Disapointing

JasonRyan_W, Feb 2020
The sailing, the crew and the sights we saw were all great. Nothing to complain about.. but the sleeping conditions and the food were very poor. Couldn’t stretch my leg in the “cabin” we were given and had to (try to) sleep on deck. Luckely it stayed dry most the time. And the food was extremely cheap and boring. We would only recomend for young people age 20+/-.

The staff really made this trip that...

The staff really made this trip that much more enjoyable. Beautiful reefs, amazing staff what an experience.

Health hazard and dire conditions

samuele_s, Jan 2026
I will try to report the facts, without entering into personal judgment because only bad words will come out. I state, in 7 participants we interrupted halfway through the tour, due to safety and health risk problems as the extremely precarious conditions of the boat and the total inexperience and lack of confidence of the staff. First: we left 3 (THREE) hours late on the first day and we could not snorkel or any other activity because it was dark. So first day lost. Second: we couldn't sleep in the cabin the first night because it was 40 (FORTY) degrees, we ALL stayed out in the rain and the staff never cared about us, EVER. Here a girl begins to get sick. Third: on the second day the skipper (totally incapable and inadequate) wants to sail without wind and we stayed still for an hour wasting more time, before he realized after our urgings that the boat was stopped, then decided to leave, too bad he got the tides wrong and we could not see the designated beach which was the beauty of the tour. Fourth: we ask to go back, because the sick girl needed to go back because the conditions were really worse and aggravating for her, he organizes the return without the slightest concern for the girl and puffing continuously, we paid 70 dollars each, too bad that he did not tell us that for five hours we will have to stay on a beach waiting for the boat that would bring us back. He drops us off at noon without food and water leaving us on a beach. Fortunately, the boys and the staff of the Boat who brought us back understood the gravity of the situation gave first to the sick girl and then to us. They were also shocked by the situation. Fifth: a girl got sick last night from sunstroke, none of the staff cared about her, EVER!! When I say NEVER I say we treated and cared for her and bring her back! That said, we make seven complaints to the tour operator and the various booking platforms result: everyone works their hands off it. Pay attention to what you book and where you book it!!

Tolles Abenteuer

Tanja_W, Jan 2024
