Agadir is a beautiful city, but unfortunately this tour did not allow us to truly experience it. The tour focused almost entirely on visiting markets and stores, and it was obvious that the guide had agreements with the places we were taken to.
With today’s live translation tools, it was easy to understand what was being said in different languages. At the Souk, the guide was telling vendors to charge higher prices because we were tourists. Later, when we visited the Kasbah for the city views, the experience felt more like a tourist trap when he encouraged some people in the group to ride camels and take photos. It is well known that camel handlers often demand excessive prices and avoid setting a clear price in advance.
Morocco is a country with beautiful people but experience like this one left you with a bad impression of them.
Overall, this was an unpleasant and disappointing experience. One of the main reasons people book a tour is for safety, transparency, and peace of mind, and this tour did not provide that.

Last week, I accompanied a group of Germans on a coach tour. I always warn my clients about all sorts of scams, especially in the Kasbah, regarding camel rides, and also in the souk. I went there with my clients and always provided information about prices (in the souk, prices are always negotiable).
All our recent clients have been German.
This gentleman went to the wrong address, but it's not the first time. We treat our valued clients like royalty.

The day didn't start out well because two of the guests didn't show up on time. The guide, Mohamed, waited 45 minutes while the rest of his 8 guests sat in the van. We finally convinced him to leave but 15 minutes later he got a call that the other two guests had finally arrived at the dock (apparently they hadn't known about the time change). He wanted to return to the dock but we adamantly told him no. So we continued on. The Mohammed V Mosque was beautiful and our guide was great at giving us the history of it. Mohamed then took us to the beautiful Olhao Gardens park (not on the itinerary). Next up were two stops at a leather shop (not on the itinerary) and an herbal / aroma therapy shop which was a waste of time. I hate when guides take you to shops to try and get you to buy something when they obviously get a kick back as is evident from all the other guides taking people to the same places. We then went to the Souk El Had Market which was pretty cool but we were scheduled for an hour and only got 30 minutes. Lastly, we went to the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella which to me, was going to be the highlight. We were supposed to have 30 minutes and got 15 so we didn't have time to go inside the fortress. Overall, I loved the sights and Mohamed was very knowledgeable. But the high pressure sales shops are a waste of time and took away from what was promised on the itinerary and he never should have kept 8 people waiting because two guests were late.

The tour was very informative, and Mohammed showed us the highlights of Agadir, including the mosque, the city center, and the famous souk. Before heading back to the ship, we went up the hill to take panoramic photos.

I booked a half-day tour with Best Ride Tours, and even though I was the only person who had booked that day, the tour still went ahead. Instead of a group tour, it turned into a private tour, which I found very professional and thoughtful of them, they could have easily cancelled, but they didn’t.
I was picked up on time and my guide was Houcine. He showed me everything with great explanations, was extremely helpful, and had so much patience. What I really appreciated was the flexibility, he even gave me the chance to make a quick stop at Zara and at a currency exchange, and he kindly waited for me without any problem.
The highlight for me was visiting the Souk. I felt so much more comfortable having Houcine there with me, because otherwise I would have definitely gotten lost (haha!). He really went out of his way to make sure I had a fun and stress-free experience.
I would absolutely recommend booking a tour with Houcine, he is truly an amazing guide and made my day unforgettable!

Mohamed gave us a great 4 hour tour. Picked us up at the cruise port which many Viator operators don’t offer. Great value for the price, especially compared to the cruise tour prices.

Our knowledgeable guide Mohamed arrived on time for Hotel pickup. Lovely Air-conditioned Mercedes Vito. Unfortunately trip was booked on Monday when a main attraction "Souk al Had" was closed. So we stayyed at Agadir beach instead longer. After a few local stops, we went to Kasbah fort and Argon production site. The final stop at city centre allowed us to pay visit to central mosque area. We were allowed 2 hours. Beautiful architecture. Offerred Zuhar prayers. We were safely dropped back to Hotel in afternoon. It was nice informative trip without breaking the bank. Highly recommended if you are on few days trip.

the souk and casbah were interesting sites, however the entire tour was soured by the guide's stopping at two shops for tourists to buy items that had nothing to do with seeing the highlights of the region. My time and money were completely wasted by this crass attempt to make some extra money. Very disappointed. I've already cancelled a scheduled Viator tour due to this experience.

Very weak tour. Tour guide tried but the experiences were under whelming.
The guide was very worried about a couple that did not show up and did not focus on his guests.
The two stops to sell us oil and the various items in a craft shop were a complete waste of time.

Our guide, Bosh (?), was easy to understand and showed us different parts of the city and points of interest.
We had plenty of time at each stop including time to shop at the souk.

Mohammed was our guide for the day and he did a great job. We were very lucky to have been the only ones on the tour and so ended up being more of a private tour. We ended up seeing marina, kasbah oufella, the Mohammed V mosque and the artisan berber souk. Mohammed was very knowledgeable and explained the history to us in detail. The views from the kasbah was the highlight of the tour, very impressive and was also interesting about the history and how it was knocked down during the 1960 earthquake. We had already visited souk El Had and our guide was happy to change the itinerary so we could see the berber souk instead. This souk is worth visiting, it's much smaller but the artisan is beautiful and prices are extremely reasonable.
Overall, a great jam packed half day tour and very worth booking!

Mohammed Izem [Best Ride Tours] was our driver and guide for the morning/early afternoon. Mohammed was very informative and knowledgeable, he gave us a tour of both old and new Agadir. Stopping at various points along the way including the marina, surfing beach, mosque, argan oil shop/factory and a local trinket shop. He also gave us time to enjoy a stroll in one the parks [Jardine]. The tour finished with a wander around Souk El Had which was an eye opener and a stop at the castle to enjoy the panoramic views. We highly recommend this small group tour to see the highlights of Agadir! Our guide (Mohammad) was so very friendly and flexible in what the 11 people in his minivan wanted to see. Probably the best tour out of 10 others we did throughout our 14 day cruise throughout the Canary Islands, Portugal, Morocco & Spain.

Rashid was our tour guide/driver - he was on time waiting outside the hotel in a very comfortable, air conditioned mini bus.
He took us around all the places listed in the tour, but also showed us other places on our request as well.
Having booked him via this website for our first tour, we then booked him for subsequent days as well, like our day trip to Marrakech and our trip to Crocoparc.
He was a very accommodating driver like making restroom stops frequently for my dad who is diabetic.
We enjoyed Rashid's company and would definitely recommend best ride tours.

Mohamed is an excellent guide. We were presented to Agadir in the best way with his tour. We went from the beachfront to a local market, stopped at a cafe for local tea, and finally visited the fortress. Very complete and informative tour. I highly recommend it to everyone that wants to learn more about this part of Morocco.

Mohammed arrived promptly at 9am to pick me up from my hotel. He was very friendly and welcoming. I was travelling solo, and at each stop point, he helped to take some photos of me.
Mohammed was very knowledgeable about Agadir/Morocco, and educated everyone on the tour about the history of Morocco and its people.
I'd recommend doing this tour, if you'd like to discover the main attractions of Agadir, and learn about its history!

Mohammed was really lovely helpful.arrived on time and really clear about where he was takng us and agreed all timings with us.
The history and informatiin about agadirs monarchy and history before and after the earthquake of 1960 the Kasbah will be closed for 2 year while being prepared but the new visitor centre will be open by late summer.
The marima mosques and the kings balance was really interesting
The souk el.had is really huge and a very different ecperience to Marrakesh which was a bit encroaching and alot of animals sych as monkeys snakes and donkeys being made to perform.

The driver was half an hour late, no apology. Was friendly enough but 2 minutes into our trip he got a phone call and spoke on the phone while driving, after a few minutes he stop on the side of the road and continued his phone call while we just sat inside the car on the side of a building site. We done that several times during the tour. He then drops us off at the market and again was late in picking us up.
