Brilliant experience!
We had a brilliant experience at this cooking class with Maria and Gaia. Maria and Gaia were incredible and we had such a fun time with them! Gaia led our tour and was our assistant during the cooking. She gave us lots of helpful tips about buying in the market. Gaia was kind and funny and went out of her way to cater for the groups needs. The cooking part of the class was equally as fun and was accommodating for all abilities and ages. We made a cold tomato soup, chickpea and spinach dish and a chicken paella. We got to learn traditional ways of cooking and had so much fun! Halfway through the class we even got Sangria that Gaia had prepared (an alcohol free one for kids!) which gave the group an even greater chance to bond! At the end we all sat together to eat our food and the dishes were absolutely delicious! We had generous portions and left feeling very full! Lastly we had a lemon sorbet champagne dessert (alcohol free option also available) which really was a perfect way to end the session. I can’t recommend this enough and it was certainly the highlight of our trip to Seville!

Wonderful experience
Really fun experience! The whole team was great, very welcoming. Instructions were clear, the paella turned out perfectly.
They did a great job of providing bites and cava throughout.
The only thing to know is if you do the later 6pm class, you won’t go to the market as noted in the title.
But well worth an evening!
Thanks to Pau and team!

Paella from A-Z
A great way to spend an afternoon making paella and sangria. Lorenzo (our guide) started our class by taking us to the La Boqueria which was a tour by itself. There he showed us how to choose the fish (squid, clams, oysters). After we went to their cafe to prepare our lunch, however first we made some sangria. Once we started the 6 of us all participated in preparing the fish and cooking the paella. While it was cooking we enjoyed conversation and more sangria. Once done we all enjoyed dining in the “fish of our labor”. The class was approx 3 hours. We loved it, it was fun meeting others, Lorenzo (the chef) was friendly and a great teacher. We would highly recommend it when visiting Barcelona.

Perfect activity!
This activity was “perfect”! We were greeted with a warm reception and Spanish Cava. All our stations were laid out and ingredients prepared for the different paellas we were to make. Ben and his team explained every step and answered all questions. As well, they made sure our wine glasses were full and great music kept us entertained. At the end of the cook, we visited other paella stations and smelled their creations. Then we retired to a dining area in the basement to enjoy our work (and appetizers & dessert). Wouldn’t change a thing!

Cooking with paella with the chef and friends
Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience making sangria and paella together! We had so much fun learning the secrets behind these delicious Spanish favorites, sharing laughter, and enjoying such a delightful time together. It was a perfect blend of culture, cooking, and fellowship. What a special way to experience Spain and create beautiful memories that we will cherish!

Would do this every time we are here.
What a great experience. Carlota was a blast and a great teacher. She made it fun and easy to learn. You get tje recipes to keep. Everyone got to be part of the cook. We would do this every time we come here. Amazing. We had a fun and relaxing experience. Drinks were pretty good too.

Absolutely a wonderful afternoon!
Had a really nice afternoon, not only cooking but also tasty snacks, sangria, white wine, shot. The guys who are giving the cooking workshop are also certainly good at what they do! A joke and a fun interaction with the group. Definitely recommended. Even if you don't feel like fish like me, there are also options with chicken!

The host and Chef were...
The host and Chef were great! We enjoyed the cooking class with our kids ages five and eight. We were a little misled by the menu as we aren’t huge seafood fans and we thought there would be a chicken option on the paella. But overall, it was very enjoyable and we would definitely do it again.

The absolute best!!!
If I could give this tour more than five stars, I definitely would! Teresa was absolutely wonderful, and this was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! She kept the group engaged and shared a wealth of knowledge with us. We started at the market to purchase ingredients we would need for our sangria, gazpacho and paella. It was so interesting to experience a local market and hear the stories of the vendors. Upon returning to the cooking studio, we began our preparations. Everything was very well organized and ready for us to get to work. We were able to prepare our meal from start to finish, and at the end, enjoyed a wonderful lunch. We couldn’t have been more pleased! Thank you, Teresa, for a wonderful experience!!!

Delicious taste of Barcelona
Very satisfied with this cooking class. Well organized, Pamela was a delight. She was personable and kept us all involved. Explained why it is important to take the time needed to make the sofrito. We made 2 starters, watermelon gazpacho, yummy tomato bread, seafood paella and Spanish cream for dessert. All delicious! Highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful Exeperience
We had a wonderful evening at the cooking class with Diana and Carmen. They were both so generous and patient with everyone and provided great instructions and opportunities for everyone to participate that wanted to. And of course the food and drink was excellent!

Fun and delicious experience!
I traveled with my husband and 2 friends and we decided to join a cooking class after our friends had done some cooking classes in other cities to experience the local food. Loleo did a fantastic job of making us feel comfortable cooking dishes we had never tried our hand at before and would otherwise sound intimidating. The food was fantastic and we also learned about some of the history of the dishes and tips on how to make them work well at home. The cod fish may have been the best fish dish I’ve ever had. It was a very fun experience! Would 100% do it again
