What are people saying about Santiago

Lots to do in one day trip!
This was just, hands down, a great experience. We made multiple stops (wine tasting) with the height of the trip stopping at Portillos hotel in the Andes Mountains. Even though it was 30 degrees, because there was no wind, it was WARM via the thermal heat from the sun. It felt like a light heater was on— totally weird experience but quite awesome. (No need to rent the warm weather gear that is suggested ). Lots of photo op stops, along with a hands on experience with llamas and alpacas. Joaquin and Raphael took care of us and I highly recommend the experience. As a note, they picked us up promptly from our hotel at 745am and drop off was around 4pm— so still time for night excursions if we wanted. Also worth nothing, there are not formal stops for food. They recommend you eat breakfast before pick up and there are food trucks at Portillos but no formal sit down affair. The tour includes a stop for empanadas but we ate them enroute back to the hotels. We packed snacks and water since we knew it was an all day event, so it didn’t bother us at all.

Our tour was cancelled...
Our tour was cancelled due to unfavourable road conditions. The tour operator offered us an alternative trip to Valle Nevado. We had a lot of fun and loved that we could experience snow during our holiday in Santiago. We were lucky to be the only two attendees and our driver/guide made us feel like VIP. Kudos to Victor Fuentes that we had such a great time. Victor even played BTS songs for me all the trip after I said that I’m ARMY! Thank you so very much.

Smooth & exciting trip!
Very friendly and informative guides! Speaks English so the trip was smooth throughout. I was picked up & dropped off directly at my accommodation. No hidden cost & the places we visited were very attractive: Valparaiso, viña del mar, funicular experience, wine tasting all were conducted perfectly 😍

Lovely day of wine in Maipo
We really enjoyed the La Quíriínta winery. The wines were good but the lunch with appetizers was amazing. The other wineries were also good. Esme was an exceptional guide, switching flawlessly between English and Spanish. Alex was a good driver and added to the fun day!

Santiago tours take you anywhere from the sea to the highest peaks in the Americas. See the city with a local guide to get the full rundown of its panoramic parks, Spanish colonial architecture, and best barrios for food and culture. Nearby, oenophiles have the choice between experiencing the asados and verdant vineyards of Maipo Valley or the Casablanca white wines near the coastal towns of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. And if it’s adventure in the Andes that you seek, hike or ski and be rewarded with views of snow-capped mountains, turquoise lakes and glaciers, and Santiago in the distance.
