We really enjoyed our day...

We really enjoyed our day with our guide Kathy. She was extremely knowledgeable and great to talk to, and all the activities were well planned and really fun. The hummingbirds were such a wonderful experience, the butterflies were fascinating and we really enjoyed the hike. We also got the chance to visit a chocolate factory which was an unexpected highlight. Kathy was a wonderful driver and guide and we felt in very safe hands. She took lots of photos and made our experience so much fun. We would highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful Quito Tour

Our travels took us to the cable car in Quito, the latitude zero, the Intiñan museum, as well as a guided tour through the historical city centre, stopping by many incredible churches as well as plazas. We finalized our tour with a wonderful, authentic cocoa experience. Our tour guide, Jose, was not only very knowledgeable, but very personable and a great driver. We left feeling overjoyed with our experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Diana was our guide. She is an excellent English speaker and a great guide! She looked after all eight of us from start to finish. She did a fantastic job of keeping us informed and educating us. We visited a “highlands home”, a local arts and crafts gallery and hiked to and from the Quilotoa lagoon. She also managed our breakfast and lunch. The highlands home was very interesting, the art gallery was well stocked with unique pieces and the hike was hard but doable. That said, due to the distances involved, it’s a long day. The operator, IMHO, should describe the tour itinerary as flexible such that that the guide can direct what stops occur when. Due to scheduling inflexibility, we “missed” our good weather window and hiked in the rain. Diana knew that this would occur yet could do nothing to change it. We had a great day nonetheless!

Excellent experience touring Quito

Excellent experience! We enjoyed our tour of Quito very much. Both our guide Daniel and the driver Abel were very kind, professional, and punctual. Our guide shared very interesting information with us about the history, culture, and places we visited. Something we valued a lot was the flexibility and good coordination of both, who adjusted the itinerary considering that the day was a bit cloudy. Thanks to this decision, we visited the Cable Car first, which turned out to be a great success. Then we toured the Historic Center and several churches, where we learned a lot about their history and architecture. Finally, we visited the Middle of the World before returning comfortably to our hotel. Everything was very well organized, we made the most of the day, and we were able to see the main attractions of Quito without feeling rushed. An experience that we totally recommend for those visiting Quito for the first time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Outstanding Tour Experience with Jonathan and Jaime! We had a fantastic experience with Jonathan, our tour guide, and Jaime, our driver. They arrived to pick us up exactly on time and immediately made us feel welcome. Together, they make a wonderful team! Jonathan showed great initiative and foresight by rearranging the tour schedule so we could visit the Teleférico before the weather moved in. It was absolutely worth it! The views were spectacular, and his commentary throughout the tour was both informative and engaging. Our stroll through Quito’s historic center was leisurely and enjoyable, covering all the major points of interest. We never felt rushed at any stop or while walking between locations. Jonathan allowed us plenty of time to take in the sights and enjoy the experience. The drive to Mitad del Mundo and back to Quito was safe, comfortable, and pleasant. Jaime was an excellent driver, and the level of interaction from both was just right—friendly, professional, and never overwhelming. We would definitely recommend Jonathan and Jaime to anyone visiting Quito. They made our day memorable and gave us a wonderful introduction to the city. Job well done, gentlemen! Mindo Cloud Forest Day Trip

Quito is quite large; hence, it takes a long while to get away from it and into the countryside. Nonetheless, the skilled driver (Pedro) made it comfortable to chat with our excellent guide (Hugo) and learn a lot and ask questions about Quito, Ecuador and the surroundings. We stopped in a small town to see an equator marker in an uncrowded setting, visited a hummingbird refuge abuzz with a wide variety of beautiful hummers, hiked to all the waterfalls in the Mindo Park, rode the cable car there and then had a lovely, well-earned lunch at a unique restaurant with great food and excellent bird watching. A full, memorable day!

Crazy and Fun

This was definitely a non-touristy experience. Fatima our guide was awesome. The horseback riding phenomenal - the best way to go through the National Park. About the hike, it is challenging. We live at sea level and arrived in Quito the night before so we didn’t have time to adjust to the altitude. But Fatima took it slow for us and it was quite exhilarating to reach the base camp!!! An experience of a lifetime!

Great tour of the old town

An interesting and informative tour showing us around the beautiful churches and buildings in the old Unesco area of Quito. Awesome Tour!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience touring Quito with Pato! Since Pato was born and raised in Quito, he knows the city inside and out, and that really made the experience feel authentic and special. He explained everything in great detail and shared so much about the history, culture, and everyday life of the city. We stopped at a local market where we got to try some unique fruits, then rode the Teleférico up the mountain and did a short hike with incredible views overlooking Quito. The swing in the clouds was awesome, and Pato even doubled as my personal photographer, making sure I had plenty of great pictures to remember the experience. We visited the Basilica, which was amazing, and then walked through the beautiful Old Town before having an awesome lunch in the square. We ended the day at Mitad del Mundo, which was the perfect way to finish the tour. We were lucky enough to arrive when there weren't many people around, so I was able to get some fantastic pictures without the crowds. This was an especially wonderful tour as a solo traveler. Pato made the entire day comfortable, fun, informative, and memorable. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I had an incredible experience. Pato is the absolute best! If you're visiting Quito, I highly recommend booking a tour with him. You won't be disappointed!
