What are people saying about Puglia

This event was...
This event was extraordinary in every way. Excellent wine, perfect pairings, accommodating hosts in an awesome location. Those that attended quickly became our companions in the tasting experience. Our host was a member of the family that owned the winery for generations. Giorgio was very informative as to the vineyard's history, varieties of grapes, terroir and future plans. The food was so good, perfectly seasoned and portioned just right. We sat with travelers from many countries who were all so glad to have attended. Don't hesitate to participate!

Pasta with love ❤️
Anna Marie loves to share her passion for cooking with others. We are a group of seven women traveling in Puglia and embracing the culture and food along the way. This class was thoughtful, educational and fun! We met other like-minded people and we were all guided by an Italian woman who understands the true importance of sharing a traditional meal with friends and family. Wine, water, lemoncello and focaccia graced our table too!

Great Hospitality
This was a very fun and educational activity. We were welcomed into the bistro, which was closed for other guests during this time. Making the pasta was fun and educational. Included today were three glasses of wine and a three course meal, centered around the pasta we made.

100% recommended!
We loved our evening at Juanita's! It was such a fun experience, the food served was excellent as well as the dishes we prepared. The apartment is lovely, and so is the host! We had such a nice time with the other guests attending. Do yourself a favour and book this experience, you'll leave with good memories and great recipes.

Better than we expected.
It was an amazing experience. We started by mixing 2 ingredients to make the dough for pasta. The process to get the dough perfect was difficult for me but with the assistance of the class leaders I got it done. The next step we witnessed how to make Pomodoro sauce. The final step was to make the Orecchiettes.
It was time to sit and eat and boy did we eat. The foods served were all local. We sampled local olive oil drenched on casa bread, tomato focaccia bread, buffalo cheese, Capicola, wine and finally the orecchiettes with the pomodoro sauce.
Everything was delicious and the conversations were great. We met people from Germany, Greece and Holland.
At the end we spoke with a farm house family member Francisco and got a small tour of the hotel area. This was an amazing experience with beautiful surroundings.

AMAZING and memorable experience, from start to finish!
This was an AMAZING and memorable experience, from start to finish. There was nothing more authentic than being able to put together an entire home cooked meal with Cesarina Lucrezia. Her and her partner were wonderful hosts...the best! The food was incredible and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it if you are in the Puglia area!

Best way to try Puglia wine without going to a winery
This was a fun tasting in the old town part of Lecce in a restaurant/wine bar. Our guide was the owner of the place and had very good knowledge of the wines that are made in Puglia. We tasted 4, a white, a rose, and the 2 reds. They were all great and the food pairings were good.

Informative and Fun Cheese Tour
As well as seeing the cows and petting the calves, it was interesting to see the milking parlour ans fridges before the display in the dairy and getting to hand mold some mozzarella.
It was informative, fun and the aperitivo was very good. There is a small shop there too with lovely local products including the cheese made on-site.

Great tour to Lecce with Nadia!
It was a great introduction to Lecce! Nadia was a wonderful guide and shared the perfect amount of history and architecture about the city. They were light snacks but filled us up, so something to keep in mind with timing / dinner plans. Would recommend to others wanting to explore the city!

This was absolutely one...
This was absolutely one of the best boating excursions I have had an opportunity to experience. Daniele and Vittoria were so professional and hardworking and fun. You could tell they enjoyed what they do and they do an amazing job. The boat and the views were gorgeous and the food and beverages provided were delicious. Highly recommend if you want some amazing views of Polignano a Mare and as Daniele said, a “refreshing” dip in the Adriatic.

This was a great pasta...
This was a great pasta making experience. Silvia and Mariela were our tour guides and hosts and we had a great time. They taught us how it make tasty focaccia and orchiette and let us eat some of the creations. They were so nice to speak a little Italian with us and help us learn.

Delicious wines in a charming setting
If you go here in the beginning of April, dress warmly! Host supplied blankets for all, but it was quite cold. Temperature aside, the host was engaging and entertaining. The vineyard is set in an idyllic area and the building is an absolutely charming trulli house. The wines were very good..along with the champagne. Snacks were provided between each tasting, and they were all made on site. The whole experience was a delight and the ride to get to the vineyard was beautiful through the countryside. I highly recommend this experience, but dress warmly!
