What are people saying about Poland

Excellent Trip would highly recomend!
There are “lots!” Of stairs down to the mine.
I was surprised how good the actual stairs were though, I expected the stairs to be made from the rock salt but they were wood and modern, so easily navigated, especially as you were going down!
Prepare for quite a bit of walking as there are literally miles under ground!!
The open mine was amazing, there were sculptures all made out of Salt (Obv)
My wife was finding the walking difficult (especially after the climb down) but one of the guides noticed this and when we walked towards the lifts back to the surface, as we were right at the back of our group, he directed us a different route and we went up a different lift. There were only 3 of us so we basically had our own lift and it brought us back to the surface, right near where our minibus was parked, rather than having to cram into a lift with lots of people and then have another quite long walk back to the minibus!
An excellent trip.
Our driver Jerry from Cracow For You was great he was in constant touch with us via WhatsApp and he even took us on a short sightseeing trip around Krakow on the way back.
10/10 would highly recommend this trip!!

Absolutely worth it!
Really well done (if you can say that about such a terrible place) You were able to go inside of the barracks including gas chamber and crematorium. They had pictures of many of the victims and personal belongings etc. They killed a lot of Jews but they killed a lot of Poles and others as well. “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

Salt Mine Tour
The tour was well organized and allowed us to skip the lines and join a group immediately going into the Salt Mines. The mine tour was well done and the sights were incredible. Matthew, our driver was personable and explained all facets of the tour before hand. Well done

Sobering experience
The tour was planned so well and all information was sent to us. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing I would be aware of is the time. I chose 8am thinking this was the pick up time but it wasn't and we were picked up at 5.40am!. So beware that the time must be at Auschwitz itself.
It was a very somber and sobering experience.
Doing it all in one day was hard but doable. We had to change transport to go to Salt Mines and again all was planned so well they were waiting for us to take us. Can't fault the planning at all
I would recommend Viator and use them again.

i definitely recommend the Auschwitz viator trip. I really enjoy Viator tours because it takes the planning out of my hands and I can enjoy the travelling part and logistics. Very well organized from pickup at a local meeting point to the three destination points. the guides are so invested in providing accurate and knowledgeable information and are charming and friendly besides.

I had a wonderful experience on the Krakow–Zakopane tour, and I would definitely recommend it! Our tour guide, Jacob, was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were picked up directly from our hotel, which made everything very convenient.
Throughout the tour, Jacob explained the history and background of the places we visited, and he made the experience really enjoyable. The views were absolutely beautiful, especially in Zakopane. The entire tour takes around eight hours, so it is a full day, but it goes by quickly because there is so much to see and enjoy.
My only wish is that we had a little more time to explore and walk around Zakopane. There were so many beautiful areas and things to see, and I felt that the three hours we had there went by too quickly. Of course, that’s not the tour guide’s fault at all — Jacob did a great job with the time we had.
Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it. Jacob was an excellent guide, and I hope I get the chance to see him again someday!

Excellent trip!
Gregory was a great trip host! Kind, punctual, and very good driver. Everything was exactly as described and on time. Traveling solo, I felt safe and had a great time exploring the Polish countryside. I highly recommend getting out of Kraków’s busy city and checking out the beautiful mountains. Thank you Gregory for a great day!

As a family we really enjoyed this tour. Highlight is the special highlander cheese (oscypek) and the thermal bath. There were plenty of time to spend in each stop. Another plus was we were in a small group of 10. Highly recommend. Kuba our guide told us a lot very informative Polish culture and history

Highly recommend
This company were very easy to deal woth from start to finish. They contacted me the day before to tell me the pick up time and collected me from my hotel. The driver, Slavo, also contacted me the day before via WhatsApp to confirm the pick up time and also asked if we would like a packed lunch. This was a great idea and we are glad we availed of this as there is nowhere to go to eat between the two camps/tours and it is a long day. The company organises transport, tickets and a guide for you. The guide is supplied by Auschitz itself and they are assigned to your group, we had Oskar, he was excellent. Overall I would recommend this company to organise your trip to Auschitz-Birkenau.

Heartbreaking but needs to be seen.
This tour was well arranged. The bus was comfortable and Julia was a very good guide. The tour itself was quite long and very informative. It was so sad to see the cruelty that occurred there. There was a lot of walking especially on the Birkenau side.

We were contacted by our...
We were contacted by our driver Daniel the afternoon before our trip with details of pickup time and asked if we would like a packed lunch for 60zloty as there was limited time between the 2 tours. We had one which was sufficient and was as described and good quality. The transport was minivan and as the last pickup we were in the front with the driver. This was ok but not ideal as space was limited. The actual tour of Auschwitz was well done and the tour guide informative. I did feel the tour of Birkenau could have been just a little longer . The journey back to Krakow was uneventful and we were back in good time.

Not the best experience
Booked to be collected at one time (8am) and multiple messages getting earlier and earlier so ended up two hours earlier than originally scheduled. This seams to be a theme.
Driver … “drove it like he stole it” with all passengers commented on hazardous driving in inclement weather.
Although the guide was knowledgeable on facts and figures, felt rushed around each area in Auschwitz too large a group crammed into small areas at a time making visibility to displays poor at times so by the time you were trying to look at one , guide was heading to next area and already started commentary… There were people with disabilities who could not keep up with guide at multiple points making whole trip not very disability friendly. No chance to read any displayed informational fact boards in attempts to keep up with information.
I feel like another trip there was needed to see what was missed.
Auschwitz its self is very thought provoking and I feel it’s a place that everyone should visit.
