Long walk to see the Statue of David and more!
Great tour! Our tour guide Mico ( it might have been Marco) was a wealth of information held our attention and showed concern for our safety. However this trip is not for the faint hearted because of the intense long walking and quick pace. I was very happy either way the knowledge I gained and the master pieces I saw! Thank you for this great opportunity!!!’

Lori was an excellent...
Lori was an excellent guide with great history lessons that helped to understand the culture and context of the incredible works of art we were viewing. She was efficient, timely, and thoughtful as well as great at shepherding us through crowded plazas and museums. Definitely ask for her on your tour!

Great guide
Group of 8 with our guide Lucia. She was delightful. Very helpful to our group and patiently answered all of our questions.

Missed it. Copy of David can be seen for free.... but not the Uffizi gallery obviously!
We were late on the train and so the tour operator was unable to wait for us nor even let us join them between points. They did, however, give us a 60% refund which is good for 3 years. BTW, there is a copy of the statue of David at the Piazza della Signoria in Florence, Italy, directly in front of the Palazzo Vecchio. There are also many other statues there of Greek and Roman mythical figures and historical figures.

Florence
The famous Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence on a sunny day.
  • The pedestrian-only Ponte Vecchio is closed to traffic, except for police cars and other service vehicles.

  • The bridge leads to the Oltrarno neighborhood, a trendy part of Florence on the south side of the river filled with excellent restaurants and cafés.

  • There are no stairs on either side of the bridge, so it is fully accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.

  • The jewelry shops on the bridge are quite respectable—some have been there for a century—and are an excellent place to choose a special gift or souvenir.
