We step into a story where song became a quiet act of defiance—gentle in sound, yet powerful enough to shake an empire. In Estonia, choral singing has long been more than art; it is a shared language of belonging, a peaceful form of resistance, and the steady heartbeat of a nation. For centuries, voices gathered not only to perform, but to stand together. When words were not enough, music carried courage and hope. During the Singing Revolution, these harmonies united hundreds of thousands and helped restore independence without violence. Choose your experience: Behind the Stage (30–45 min): Explore hidden interior spaces of Tallinna Lauluväljak, uncovering stories, architecture, and the legacy of mass singing. Backstage & Beyond (1h 30 min): Combine backstage access with a walk across the historic Song Festival Grounds, revealing performance life, scale, and the role of singing in Estonia’s path to independence.

Rather than focusing only on individual monuments, the tour connects Parnu's different historical periods and shows how the city evolved from a fortified trading centre into Estonia's beloved summer capital. The walk also allows you to experience the changing atmosphere of Parnu, moving from its historic heart through quiet old streets and defensive landscapes to the open spaces of Rannapark and the beach.

Northern Estonia is perhaps best known for the natural beauty of its landscape, featuring a mix of forests, bogs, lakes, and seashores. Without doing ample research, it can be tricky as an outsider to know the best kind of beers to try in Tallinn, however, this tour provides the perfect solution. Best of all, to help you fully appreciate the local brews, 3–4 beer tastings are included.

Walking down the Song Festival Grounds, we step into the story of how choral singing became Estonia’s quiet rebellion—a force so strong it helped bring down an empire. Through centuries, song has been more than music in Estonia. It has been a call to unity, a form of resistance, and the heartbeat of a nation unwilling to be silenced. As we walk, we listen—to the stories of those who stood here before, to the echoes of past festivals, and to the voices that still rise today. And yes, we will tell you about the bees—so eager to collect pollen and produce honey that, without realizing it, they managed to bring down an empire. Step into history. Walk through the music. Hear the songs that changed a nation.
