What Makes This Tour Unique? Nature & Culture: A perfect balance of history and wilderness. 100% Local Guide: I live in the starting village and have explored these hidden trails for 20 years. Private & Flexible: Enjoy full attention and a relaxed, customizable pace. Recent Review: "Balazs was a wonderful guide, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was one of the best I have been to in Europe. A very personalized experience. We enjoyed the Forest Tour which was a breath of fresh air. We enjoyed the stories, humour and hospitality. Generally a wonderful relaxed pace to visit two places in a day. We had time to take lots of photos and stop for a very delicious lunch in a wonderful village restaurant which even showed us a magic trick or two. 5 stars tour and maybe 7 stars if I could give it. Definitely the main highlight of our trip in Budapest so far!"

Instead of following the usual tourist routes to Visegrad Citadel, we walk together through the peaceful forests of the Danube-Ipoly National Park, once the medieval hunting grounds of the Hungarian kings. Away from the crowds, there is time to enjoy nature, stop by a fresh natural spring to taste its crisp water, have a chat, share a laugh and simply get to know the people you are travelling with. By the time we reach the end of the forest trail, we are no longer just a group of travellers — we have become a little team.
