What are people saying about Berlin

Fantastic tour
Great experience, you take the train route thar POWs took to Saschenhausen, you walk through the town as they did. We went on a bleak rainy day who seemed all the more fitting. Great tour, fantastic guide (Jonathan) with great stories and very educational!

Hannah made this a great tour.
We went on the Sachsenhausen tour with Hannah. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the camp and all of Berlin. The camp itself and the photos were quite somber and brought you closer to the horrors or those times. Hannah shared a personal story on the ride back which was very touching. There is a lot of walking involved, but this tour is just about 4 hours, so not too bad. Also, no snack breaks.

A walking tour not to be missed
The 3 hour walking tour takes you to all the best parts of Berlin showing both the destruction and regrowth to what Berlin is today. Our guide Xavier was absolutely brilliant. Very informative with just the right amount of humour and pace. Made sure we had the best possible opportunities to see understand and embrace both the atrocities and how Berlin has developed since both the war and the Berlin Wall. I would highly recommend both the tour and our guide xx

Bike tour or Berlin sights
Sam was our guide. What a guy. Unbelievable knowledge of history and great ability to weave a story. So many interesting nuggets. The bikes were great. The journey is safe and gives a great tour of all the interesting sights and sites. Very very enjoyable.

Dinner, Drinks & Berlin from the Spree , just Sit Back and Enjoy!
This was exactly what we needed after my husband ran the Berlin Marathon. It was a beautiful, relaxing evening where we could sit back, enjoy dinner, and simply enjoy being together.
I had read reviews saying the boat was difficult to find, but that wasn’t our experience at all. We took an Uber using the provided address, looked over the bridge, saw a boat docked below, and there it was. The address took us right where we needed to be.
The boat itself was exceptionally clean, and because they keep the number of passengers small, it never felt crowded. The staff was fantastic. We never had to flag down a waitress or ask for anything. They seemed to think of what we needed before we did. That kind of attentive service really added to the evening.
I had also read complaints about not being able to hear the overhead commentary. Could we hear it? Nope. Did it matter? Not one bit.
This is where I think expectations matter. If your primary goal is to learn the history of Berlin and get detailed explanations of everything you pass, book a guided sightseeing tour. Quite honestly, a knowledgeable guide is going to give you a much better experience for that purpose anyway.
This cruise is about something different. It’s about slowing down, enjoying good food and drinks, taking in the beautiful architecture along the Spree, and having quality time with your spouse, family, or whoever you’re traveling with. And yes, the food is German. It’s not a cheeseburger from McDonald’s! We enjoyed it and thought it fit the experience perfectly.
You still get a wonderful taste of Berlin from the water. In fact, seeing the Berlin Cathedral from the boat made such an impression on us that we decided to visit it later in our trip. The architecture along the river is stunning, and seeing it from this perspective was a wonderful introduction.
If you want beauty, good food, attentive service, relaxation, quality time, and a great memory, book this cruise. If you want an in-depth sightseeing lesson, book a guided tour.
For us, this was exactly what a sunset dinner cruise should be.

The tour guide was so...
The tour guide was so nice and waited for us after an issue. I would beware by the other scammers in the area trying to say you booked with them. He showed us all of the areas on the list, offered to take photos, gave us time to go through a specific shop. We were only in Berlin for the day and this was perfect to see all of items on my list. High recommend!

Enjoyed the day
It was both an educational experience (first half) and a pleasant experience (second half). Our guide Peter even tok us to an additional bit of Potsdam before reboarding the bus.
The only bit I wasn't too excited about was the fact that both English and Spanish groups were in the same bus and guides had to alternate.

Cold War & Berlin Wall Tour. Fab!
The tour was excellent and Ru, our tour guide, was very knowledgable, friendly and made the tour engrossing. He passed on lots of historic facts which we weren't aware of prior to this tour so it was realy interesting.
The only down side for us was that the tour went on a little longer than expected, was told it would be 2 and half hours and it ended up being 3 and a quarter hours. This would of been fine but my wife and I had another tour booked shortly after this one and we thought we'd of had loads of time to get to it, when in fact we had to rush off & use public transport to get to the next event.
Just about made it!
Have to say Ru was brilliant though!

Day tour to Berlin from Cruise ship
Fairly long drive from port to Berlin, but along the way many interesting and pertinent facts shared by the guide Anna, who was very pleasant and informative all through the day. Saw many important sights and we were amazed at how much detail we could see in a day. Would definitely recommend.

Good tour!
Great walking tour! Met at our hotel at Potsdam, and good walk around some important points in Berlin with good history of the area and what happened there. Guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions easily and nicely. Would recommend especially at the beginning of a trip, to get a better sense of the area and what happened there.

Great experience- Excellent tour
This is was an excellent tour. The guide Raffaello was outstanding. He really personalised the tour and has a passion for Berlin and its history. It is well worth undertaking a tour of this nature and if possible asking for Raf. We did this as a team corporate event but this would suite any age or any group. Thanks Raf you were a champ.

An emotional boing back to our European history
We had a very nice and well informed lady guide, Anastasia, that made our tour really enjoyable. It was a touching and emotional travel back in dark times, when Berlin was splited in two. Anastasia was able to open that door and present us the less known side of the drama berliners went through some decades back.
This is a tour you should not miss if you travel to Berlin. Becaus it talks about an unique memorial. The Berlin Wall.
The overall impresion after this visit? Lets not forget our recent history and never allow it to happen again.
