My husband, son and I enjoyed the tour with Samuel! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the lagoon and its history. He provided a friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed being able to get off and swim. The fruits were a great touch.
Our boat tour in Bacalar was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Samuel, was fantastic—he was incredibly knowledgeable about the lake's history and ecosystem, and his friendly, welcoming personality made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Both Francisco and Maria were great and did their best so that we had a great time onboard. The tour itself gives you a perfect experience of the lagoon, it is not rushed and you have plenty of time during the stops. Food and drinks really good!

My partner and I had an amazing time!! Omar our guide was really nice and fluent in English and Spanish. The views and water was so worth our sunburn. Try to sit under the shade while moving from spot to spot on the boat!!

Fabulous experience with tequila flowing all afternoon. We were lucky enough to have Miguel and Sam on board who were both incredibly informative and a good laugh. Would definitely recommend the experience to all travellers wishing to enjoy some beautiful views, some great drinks and lovely staff!

We had a great experience, would highly recommend this tour! The guides Carlitos and Miguel were fabulous - they were really knowledgable about the lagoon and Bacalar and were both great vibes all round. They were also crucially very conscious about the environment and preserving the lagoon which is not something you come across often. Great cocktails too!
Amir Boat Tours ran a very nice tour. We were a group of 4 and had the whole boat to ourselves. It wouldn’t have been as good if the boat was packed. It could hold at least 13 and maybe as many as 18, but don’t rely on that from me. What really made it special was Rommel, our guide. It’s clear that he loves his job and he is e knowledgeable and enthusiastic about it. We swam 3 times during our trip. The water of the lagoon is warm and clear.
Samuel was a great host, we had many chances to swim or make a drink, and enjoy views of the lagoon. Time as advertised. Great fruit spread as well!

Great guides, they made it all! For the rest it’s a typical sailboat ride, nothing out of the ordinary, but Capi and his mariners were awesome!

I had a great time on the boat. We had a small fun group of 7 and Roman was awesome! Learned a lot about the lagoon but had a lot of fun. Arrived solo, but met some wonderful people.

We had an absolutely incredible 4 hours with Romal yesterday. He is funny, knowledgable, fun, responsible and has a real passion for this area and what he does.
All 4 stops were totally different and the lagoon is just stunning, it’s unlike anywhere I have ever been. The drinks and food were the icing on the cake! Tequila Sunrises at sunset! Priceless!
Amazing experience being able to learn about the lagoon while touring it on the boat. The boat took us to shallower spots on the lagoon where we felt comfortable enough to swim and frolic around. Both Miguel and Samuel were very friendly and informative.
This was fantastic and loads of fun. Our guides took us across the lagoon to some safe shallow areas for a few swims, played games with us, gave us food and drink, and taught us about the area from their local knowldge. Perfect. This is essential if you are in the area.
The lagoon trip was great. Our two guides were terrific, they told us a lot of information about the lagoon and its history. Our two guides were Romel and Sam. They were a lot of fun, kept us laughing and smiling. Sam was a new guy but he did a great job. Romel has been our guide before and just like before he was great and that’s the reason we keep coming back and booking this tour.
