The Paella & Sangria Cooking Class was absolutely worth it—informative, engaging, and a lot of fun. You start at the local market, where Fred, our instructor, shares great insights about the ingredients we’ll be using. Then you head to a nearby restaurant kitchen to prepare the meal together. I left the class both well‑fed and fully equipped to recreate the paella and sangria at home. Fred was an excellent instructor.

Great introduction to Alicante

Isaac is a personable and very knowledgeable guide. He effectively uses a tablet with visuals to elaborate what he is talking about. Now I know the difference between paella and arroz! The tour doesn’t include the castle, but Isaac gives lots of information about it which helps to decide if one wants to see it later. The tour took about 2 hours and ten minutes, concluding at the central market and the memorial to the three hundred civilians who died during the Spanish Civil war in a bombing at the market. We toured on a Sunday when the market was closed, but we will be back o. Monday to check it out.

A fantastic tour, with an amazing guide in Fran. Very informative, telling you all those little details that you would never know about otherwise. Lovely look around the largest market in Spain with some tasting of local food, followed by a taxi up to Santa Barbara Castle (Fortress), with more great facts and amazing views of the entire area. Tour finishes with some nice tapas and a drink. Can’t recommend it enough, Fran is a brilliant tour guide.

Very nice experience

What a nice experience! First Spanish dishes, one even tastier than the other. Actually a three-course meal, because after some cold tapas as a starter, 3 warm dishes were brought. And finally, we could choose between cheesecake or a chocolate mousse for dessert. Great! And the performance of the flamenco dancers and the male singers and guitarist was also great. How fit those ladies are with their feet!
