BE READY 15 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR START FOR PICKUP. We do not automatically stop at all hotels, please call our office prior if you do not recall your pickup location chosen. Empress guests, please meet out front hotel entrance near door man. NOT ON STREET, NOT BUS AREA. Our first departure point is the Hotel Grand Pacific. You must be ready 15 minutes prior to departure time at all pickup locations. CRUISE SHIP GUESTS. SURF MOTEL Walk outside terminal to street. Turn right. Down the street on left is little motel: Surf Motel. We will meet here. Please do not inquire at this motel they will have no information. Must be here 15 minutes prior to departure time. This is a scheduled tour. We depart promptly on time.

Tour was excellent! Butchart Gardens are simply stunning! Our tour guide Mark is extremely knowledgeable. He really added interest & depth to the experience. I also loved the tour of Victoria. Again, Mark's knowledge and warm, genial approach were perfect!

Highly recommend! Colleen was a wonderful guide. She took us all through Victoria’s neighborhoods and shared wonderful informative stories. We had a comfortable ride to Butchard Gardens snd plenty of time to explore there.

Relaxing tour of Victoria city with a stop of the amazing beautiful Butchart gardens. Guide was funny, knowledgeable and accommodated requests to see some particular spots in town. There was enough time to visit the gardens and have a coffee. Small group experience (10) which is always better.

Our tour was an easy pick up at a motel near the cruise port. Mark was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge. We toured the city and then went to the beautiful gardens. 2 hours was plenty of time at the gardens. We had extra time on the way back so we did some more touring of the city. I highly recommend this company and Mark for a tour.

If you get a chance to go to Butchart gardens go! The city tour along with the drive to the gardens and back was very informative with lots of narrative by the tour guide who was excellent.

This was a fantastic tour. We were on a cruise and they picked us up (on time) near the ship, which was so convenient. The tour guide and owner, Coleen, gave us a tour of Victoria City that included all the highlights. She gave us opportunities to get out of the van for photos and "rest stops." Then we went to Butchart Gardens (entrance ticket included). On the way she told us lots about the history of the gardens and the family who own it. After the gardens, she told us more about Victoria, as we headed back and gave us options for drop-off. Overall, it was a great day and very reasonable. Highly recommend!
ps we appreciated that she didn't fill every seat, so we were more comfortable than we have been on other tours. Plus she's been in business for more than 20 years.

Mark was on time and so friendly. The van held 11 people. He was very caring of everyone's comfort. It was comfy and window views were good. Mark had so many interesting stories. He was so knowledgeable and funny. The tour was around 5 hours. We even got to drive around in areas with houses. It was very cool to see real estate in Victoria. We had about 2 hours in Butchart Gardens. It was beyond beautiful and we didn't feel rushed. This was one of the best yours we've ever been on! Kudos!

We had a great experience with the locally run company that Viator contracted with. Previously I had never thought to fully explore cruise ship tours outside of the ones the cruise line offers, but I found a better value and likely a more personal experience. Our guide gave us a great tour, provided extra tips at the gardens, and the pick up location outside the terminal was a very short walk. He even dropped us off directly at the boat on the way back to save a few steps. I'd gladly repeat this tour.

This was possibly the best tour experience we have ever had. Our guide Mark was over the top spectacular. He was extremely punctual the entire day. The sights to be seen were also just as amazing. We highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour guide and seems to have the knowledge of the city and the Butchart gardens. Very patient and he even dropped us off close to the entrance of the port so we did not have to walk far.

Tyco was very friendly and accommodating. We loved seeing the beautiful gardens and he gave us great tips for seeing them. The description of the tour said we would have 3 stops to take pictures on the city tour and we only had one and that was really disappointing. But overall we enjoyed the tour and are so glad we got to see the beautiful gardens!

Tyco was a nice guide, but we chose this tour for the history of the city prior to getting to the gardens. No the parliament building isn't made of sandstone. No the stones did not come from Vashon, no there aren't a shortage of bathrooms in the building - they are just put in odd places and more were added in the 80s. Those are just a few of the inaccuracies. There's enough fake news we are all fed without fake facts on a tour. Please do better.

Not enough time to fully enjoy the magic amass splendor of Tiger Butchart Gardens; it felt rushed. We could have spent another hour or two, especially since the weather was outstanding.

Our tour is intentionally structured as a combined offering: a concise one-hour city overview followed by time at the Gardens, with round-trip transportation from downtown (typically about 45 minutes each way). This format is designed for guests who prefer a shorter outing; the tour description reflects that itinerary and the approximate travel time.
That said, your feedback may help other guests decide whether our advertised timeframes match their expectation.

First, I want to highly recommend this tour if you have the chance to be in Victoria for the day. Our tour guide was Colleen. She was fantastic! She shared so many interesting facts about the city of Victoria and many interesting facts and trivia about the Butchart Gardens. The other thing I want to mention is how helpful and accommodating she was for us as our cruise ship got to port at the same time her tour started. I am so grateful she was able to work with us. I know we got a much better and informative tour than the ones Holland America offered through Shore excursions.
