Incredible trip in the glowing darkness, covered in snow, in a beautiful old wooden boat. Our guides were superb, thank you, so informative every step of the way. Grateful for the thermal suits. So much more interesting than we thought it would be. So lucky too to watch the eagles - wow.

A beautifully rugged cruise in a classic wooden fishing ship made for a magical November evening. The crew was so pleasant and informative.

Absolutely perfect. Peaceful and informative. We even got a warm fish cake snack and hot coffee. Great photo opportunities and learned some history about the local area. Would recommend!

Stunning views of the fjords! The ship was wonderful and has a great story. Friendly and helpful crew. Would have loved more history, and still enjoyed the experience very much.

Beautiful ship, loads of history, spectacular scenery, lovely crew. Yummy snack, dress warm or use provided suits

We loved everything about the Hermes II! The Crew were so fun and knowledgeable, and served the best blackcurrant hot drink. They had thermal gear for the folks that got cold, had storage for our laptops, and were always happy to chat and answer questions. The history of the boat is also so fascinating, but I guess you'll have to book to find out what I mean!

Very lovely and enjoyable experience. The team were spot on and professional. We have seen many places and reindeers down the boat trip. The fjords/sea was thankfully settled and no big waves all along. The food snack and hot tea were perfect for the slightly chilly wind!

We enjoyed a very informativ cruise through the harbor and fjords near Tromsø. The crew (locals) was very accommodating and answered every question we had (about the ship, Tromsø and the wildlife). If you are interested in some of the local history while enjoying the scenery and seeing the wildlife there, this trip is highly recommended (even though it snowed a lot during our trip, we would recommend it anytime).

Travel on a historic boat over 100 years old by the Tromsø Fjord. We leave the port and you can see both the coast of Tromsø and Tromsdalen. We are moving away from the city and towards a nearby island, protected for the conservation of birds, especially the white eagle. Seals and wreckage from a ship sunk in the Second World War are also observed. Nothing crowded, maximum 18 people, with explanations from the captain and crew, all attentive and very nice. Halfway through the trip, which is 2 1/2 hours, we went down inside the boat and were told the story of the Hermes II. Highly recommended.

Very nice and entertaining crew. If you're offered a thermal suit - take it. It's very cold out at sea.
It should also be mentioned that many reviews stated that the visit to the old fish factory was so boring. Apparently this has been noticed by now, because we were not in a fish factory. We have eagles, seals and a sunken submarine from the 2nd century. World War I get to see.
