Mel was a wonderful driver and guide providing lots of interesting and funny facts about Toronto, Ontario, and Niagara. He was a hoot! Thank you for providing such an enjoyable experience.
The falls were spectacular...and viewing them from the tower, as well as taking the boat are a must.
If you elect to do the boat ride, you're going to get quite wet, especially if riding on the upper deck. The disposable ponchos provide moderate water protection, so legs and feet will definitely get wet (even soaked).

A great way to visit Niagara Falls from Toronto. Our driver Mel was full of information about the region and was meticulous in maintaining our schedule. We added the Skylon Tower on his recommendation-an unforgettable view on a beautiful blue sky day. We skipped the Boat Trip though, preferring to grab some lunch (recommend Iskender Turkish restaurant at the top of Clifton Hill) and wander the length of the promenade at our own pace. A super day out - thank you!
A tip - if you are going on the boat you might want to grab a snack from the Maple Syrup stop otherwise you could be waiting a long time till lunch….
Melvin was great
He pointed out all the important bits and gave tips. The falls boat tour was definitely worth it

Guide and driver Mel is a font of knowledge which he shares happily as he drives. He is a genuine and very helpful chap. Trip was well paced.
Friendly driver who provides interesting commentary. We really enjoyed the pace of the trip. Included stop for maple syrup tasting was pleasant.

Lovely tour, the trip to Maple Leaf Place for a maple syrup tasting was great as was Skylon tower for an amazing view of the falls (for an extra charge - bring cash!). I definitely recommend booking the boat, getting up close to the falls was incredible and you still get time to explore on your own.
Our guide, Mel, was amazing giving us loads of history chat, stories from his life, and jokes on the drive over. It was really interesting and he made me laugh several times with his deadpan delivery and it made the long drive much more enjoyable! I particularly enjoyed his story of his 'ufo' encounter and learning about people who have gone over the falls.

We had a great day with Melvin. Everything was very smooth from pick up to drop off. He provides very clear directions. He has a very dry wit and made his tour information quite funny if are you paying attention. Great trip overall. I would recommend this if you want a stress free day trip to Niagara Falls

The attractions were great. You stop at a maple syrup place for tasting , then the skylon tower for a fabulous view of the falls. Then you can spend time at the falls or do the boat trip which we highly recommend it was great. Niagara Falls has a lot of restaurants, arcades and family stuff.
Now let’s get to our driver. Melvin from vegreville while knowledgeable was the most boring host of a viator tour that we have been on and we have been on several around the world. His monotone voice for 1 1/2 hours there and back was a cure for insomnia. He brought us kicking and screaming into the 1980s with his laminated cards he brought for show and tell.
He regaled us with stories of the falls and of two helicopters crashing with the same tone as he did about his excitement of seeing a wolf up close. All the while clearing his throat repeatedly on mic while he told said stories.
One side note viator should say we aren’t allowed coffee on the bus as we all threw away coffees before boarding as everyone brought one for the drive at our 8 am pickup.

Our Niagra day tour was a great day out. Everything ran to time. The journey was comfortable. Our guide Brukus was helpful and friendly.
We loved the horn blower boat trip and the Skylon tower. Plenty of time for lunch in the table rock restaurant.

I recently completed a day tour to Niagara Falls and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour was exceptionally well organised, the bus was clean and comfortable, and our driver was outstanding. They were highly knowledgeable, provided interesting commentary throughout the day, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well looked after and had a great experience. Niagara Falls itself was spectacular, and the itinerary offered a perfect balance of sightseeing and free time. One tip for future travellers: bring some cash, as there are a couple of worthwhile optional stops along the way that are not included in the tour price. Highly recommended!

If you want perfection, this is your tour, our guide, know everything you need to know for the first time, he had all the time perfectly match for you, if you need a ticket for any atraction that you don't buy before the trip, don't worry he got them, he gave us a welcome cookies and water, he is a great guy, and it was a great experience

I booked this tour as a solo traveler and was told I couldn't sit by myself because the tour was "full." Once on board, the bus was actually fairly empty, so this restriction felt unnecessary and left a bad first impression.
The tour guide managed the group like schoolchildren, making us line up in rows and stay seated until he gave the okay to get up. On top of that, he repeatedly cleared his throat directly into the microphone throughout the tour, which was pretty distracting.
On the practical side, the bus's AC wasn't working well, and there were no USB ports to charge phones, a real drawback on a full-day tour where you rely on your phone for photos and navigation.
The itinerary itself had potential, but the combination of poor communication, rigid management style, and lack of basic amenities made for a disappointing experience overall.

Thanks for your feedback. I wouldn't say that there was a lack of basic amenities at all. Some of our buses do have charging ports - and all of them have air conditioning. We have a very new fleet - the oldest bus in our fleet is only 7 years old. Most other tour companies use much older vehicles.
As far as being made to sit next to someone else - this can be expected as a single traveler on most public vehicles. The bus was not fairly empty - it was mostly full.
If you expect to sit by yourself with an empty seat next to you then that would require a surcharge - which I am sure you would have not liked.
Otherwise you just have to expect to have someone sitting next to you - or be pleasantly surprised if there is not someone sitting next to you - not expect to sit by yourself.
Overall, the tour was good. Convenient pick-up and drop-off at Downtown Toronto location. I wish we spent less time at the maple syrup & chocolate store, and a little more time at Niagara Falls.

Our guide had moved from Vancouver to Toronto year ago don’t remember his name. But he was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and a great driver. The tour was great. Loved all the photo stops. Niagara Falls was beautiful. Great tour. Worth the money.
