Day Trips from Toronto to Algonquin Provincial Park

Trade the CN Tower for the towering pines of Algonquin Provincial Park on an expansive journey north from Toronto. This massive wilderness is the ultimate playground for canoeing and spotting moose, and you can spend your day hiking the lookout trails for panoramic views of the Canadian Shield. While you explore the hardwood forests or visit the Algonquin Art Centre, your long-distance transportation is coordinated so you can nap on the 3-hour drive back to the city. These outings handle the park permits and logistics, leaving you free to focus on the call of the loons and the fresh Ontario air.
